As someone who grew up in Barrie from 1993 and on, looking at the mall now versus like 2007 (15 years ago) it's honestly sad. It used to be our hangout for after school, whether it would be pool at the bowling alley, catching a movie at the Bayfield 7 cinemas, checking out Sir Games A Lot, and then getting a bite to eat at A&W or Subway, it was a great mall! Now, there's maybe 20% occupancy rate and there's only 1 restaurant (a jerk chicken place) and a DQ that's only open here and there. It's sad seeing what once was a very happening and busy mall turn to this depressing, dirty, empty and sad place.

Hakka Town is a hidden gem within the mall. Father and son are serving up authentic Hakka cuisine in a small takeout space. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. The Hakka chicken noodles were the best I have ever had and the Manchurian and chili chicken were outstanding. Will be going again whenever in Barrie

She's dying. I only go for Centra food mart. There is a bowling alley that's always busy, and a popular gaming place (Warhammer etc), but I'm not into that stuff. Lots of empty spots, hope it comes back some day...I remember when it was new, it's a lot differnt now...

Mall is basically a ghost town..if it wasn't for Canadian Tire, Planet Fitness, Centra & Bowllerama ir would suck. You lost the movie theater to cineplex and shut down the best moneymaker.Invest into some decent stores that will bring people back.

There are roughly 5 stores in this mall. When we attended, it was 3:30 pm on a Thursday afternoon. It was dark as most of the lights were off and stores were closed or empty. We finally found Sunrise records, but it was such a sketchy vibe, and some random guy followed us asking where we lived. What was weird is that the parking lot was packed, so unsure where everyone was.

This is a big size mall to spend some time shopping and pick up some food while there as well. It has various outlets and caters to the different needs as well. The place is well lit and has clean washrooms with ample area for parking outside as well.

Sir games a lot is the heart and soul of this mall. Overall it is still a good place to visit if you need a service onstario or a dollarama. Plus many fascinating new wonders everytime I visit.

Probably the best example of what Barrie has to offer. They have something for everyone and the Santa is the best in Barrie. He was kindhearted and genuinely enthusiastic about greeting the families and children. Centra and Canadian tire and are a must see for anyone visiting Barrie and Sunrise records is an awesome little shop.

This mall used to be a good place to venture. Now, it's extremely limited in what they offer. There's like 3 places to stop and eat however two of them are very specific, and not necessarily something most people will eat at. The only thing I guess they have going is the Canadian tire (which you can no longer access the mall from, you have to leave and go to another entrance), bowlerama, dollarama and the speciality grocery store. Sir Games a lot has moved upstairs and Sunrise is still floating around but yeah, unless you're looking for something super specific or are going bowling, there really isn't anything else here.

Rudest staff imaginable in this mall I asked where the bathroom was and the cleaning lady pointed her nose at me and scoffed as she told me there were some down the hall then as I couldn't find them she took her shty job attitude out on me with sarcasm. Get in and get out as quick as possible.
