Nails For You

Came in approx 4pm with no appointment. They take walk-ins. This place had many good reviews, so I thought I would try. Requested for a basic shellac manicure in white. I got Stella, she was very nice but she checked her phone often. I wish they just paid more attention to detail and customer service, my nails could use a third coat (minor bubbling in some of the nails). My middle right finger had a small bleed from a painful cuticle removal, which she cleaned with alcohol. I think white just shows imperfections the most. For 30 minutes and $44 after tax and tip, you get what you pay for. Fast service. I would try the others down the road, but would give this place a chance again.

I have been going to Denny for almost ten years and the service and nail treatments have always been absolutely amazing. I don't think I have ever repeated a nail design, maybe a color or two! Whenever I have chipped a nail or a stone happened to fall, Denny is very accommodating in having it fixed as soon as possible, which I truly appreciate. I recommend him to everyone. If you have any requests or issues, they are happy to resolve and accommodate your needs. I do not trust anyone else with my nails :)

Really great salon and fabulous service at Nails For You. I’m very particular about having my nails done. The nail techs here are very skilled and work with great attention to detail. It’s the best shellac manicure I’ve had in the city!

I don't usually leave reviews but I was very dissatisfied with the service I received. I showed a picture of what I wanted (french tips with smiley face designs), however, when I got the shellac done - the tips aren't even visible. Even though there were two coats of the polish put on, it looks as if there was only one coat put on and when I showed my nails to my friends, they thought I did them myself because it looks of really poor quality. Not to mention, the nail lady injured my thumb and index finger with the cuticle nipper - it was bleeding non-stop for a while before it stopped (you can kind of see where it was bleeding from on the index finger in the pic). I was being asked to put my hands with the bleeding fingers under the UV lamp which I'm not even sure if this is safe. At the end, there were even white shellac polish marks around my hands which the nail tech was trying to remove with a buffer block and it felt like it was scraping my skin. Even then, there were still some marks unremoved. Price wise, it's decent but be careful with who you're getting your nails done with.

I've been going here for about 3 years. They have NEVER failed me. My nails always last a little over a month before I have to come in for another fill. They have a very wide range of colours, styles and designs. I've tried a few different people here and each were good. This most recent time, my nails lasted almost 6 weeks!! That's amazing lol. This place is definitely worth it.

I read the reviews and thought this place would be good, it’s my first time going to a nail salon & I wasn’t satisfied. The lady did manicure & pedicure in under 25 minutes. She rushed every step & didn’t put no effort into it. I could’ve cut my nails at home and done a better job if I knew it would look like this. I mean no disrespect to your shop but my nails still look a mess I’m really not satisfied. I thought y’all could make my gorilla feet look better but it’s the same thing lol. Plus I asked for clear coating and i don’t know if they either forgot or just didn’t care but they didn’t do it

Amazing service as always with the wonderful ladies at the Nails for You esp to Sindy. Always a pleasure. Will highly recommend this place for your nails needs.

I went in to get shellac for my nails. They had lots of selection for different colours and they were nice but I feel that the person who helped me do my nails didn't seem like they wanted to do it. The person who helped me got nail polish on some of my fingers but didn't bother to wipe it off. There is also a small bump on one of my fingers. When the person was cutting the cuticles of my fingers, they cut it into my skin and it burns and looked like it was gonna bleed. Overall it was ok just wish that they were looking where they were cutting so they don't cut into the skin.

They tried to scam me by charging me significantly more for a nail fill than what is advertised. The owner/man at front desk tried to apologize but that's only after I questioned the charge. The nails also chipped a few days later which I haven't experienced with other salons that offer shellac/gel. (This review is for a service from early 2022)
