Ali's voice and body language was friendly and confident and Rachel did everything Ali asked of her. Rachel was quite the handful and we were amazed how focused Rachel was with her. A year later Rachel is now a loving and sweet little girl and we still apply certain commands that Ali taught us. We are so happy and comfortable with Ali that we now leave Rachel with her while we go on our vacation. I call her Rachel's other mother". Ali is a kind, approachable, compassionate, supportive and amazing trainer. We had the pleasure of working with her through her puppy training program and training walks.Being first time dog owners, she was there to guide our way no matter how silly the question were and she provided us with tools to be the best pup parents. We were struggling with walking our cheeky miniature schnauzer in the busy city, helping him with polite greeting with other dogs and most importantly, guide us through his teething stage. Through our lessons, walks and conversations, Ali helped Ruffles set up a strong foundation and got us through the other side of his teething with a low sock causality.Boarding with Ali is the best. Ruffles is always excited to see Ali, so excited that he jump right into her car to get going! Ruffles always has a great time hanging out with Ali and family. He loves playing with and learning from his best buddies, Mai, Nanaki and Kaia! Ali sends detailed updates that includes photos, videos and messages about his daily shenanigans. We trust Ali with Ruffles and know that he is well taken care of, which allows us to enjoy our time away.We are so lucky to have Ali in our lives and we would highly recommend Ali to anyone who needs extra support with their pup !!

I recently worked with Ali and she was amazing! She was patient, kind, and knowledgeable about dog behaviour and training techniques. She helped my family and me train our new puppy to be well-behaved and obedient. She also helped me understand how to communicate effectively with our dog and how to read his body language. Ali has helped us immensely with our reactive dog. After our initial visit she was quick to check-in with us and see how things were going. She provided us with detailed and specific written material including next steps and things to work on. She is friendly, approachable, easy to talk to and our dog loves her.We also had the pleasure of working with Ali again in the Reactivity R&R program she co-runs with Sweetgrass Dogs and Paws in the Dirt. This program gave us real-life skills that we could use on everyday walks and helped to address the root causes of our dog's reactivity. The classes were very effective, helped to make training fun and took the well-being of all participant dogs into account. We appreciated working with 3 like-minded professionals and the dog to trainer ratio ensured everyone got one-on-one coaching time.We will continue to work with Ali in the future and highly recommend her!

Ali is amazing! I learned very quickly that dog training is less about training your dog and more about training you. Ali taught me how to read my puppy, Pip's, signs and use this understanding to teach her. Because of the way Ali teaches I've been able to continue using the skills keep teaching new tricks after our sessions ended. Pip now knows over a dozen tricks and we've started learning to use buttons so she can communicate with me further. The training we did went beyond just teaching new tricks and actually strengthened the bond between me and Pip.In addition to training Ali now watches Pip when I have to go out of town. She sends pictures and keeps me updated so I never worry about how she's doing when I can't be there.I cannot recommend Ali enough, I've given her info to many people already. You will not regret working with her!
