Me and my husband went here for our 8 week and 12 week ultrasounds. We were both very disappointed he couldn’t come in with me for the 8 week one to hear the heartbeat as we have had miscarriages in the past so this was a big deal for us. The young ultrasound tech I had for 8 weeks was very pleasant, kind and empathetic. She made the experience better as she showed me the screen while she was doing the ultrasound and allowed me to take a photos of the screen and gave me some alone time in the room to get dressed with the ultrasound pics still open on the machine. I wish I had her name so I could thank her for the care she gave.Now…. my 12 week ultrasound however was a completely different story… when they called me to confirm my appointment they told me my husband wasn’t even allowed to wait in the waiting room for this one, so he had to drop me off as I went in completely alone.I had researched 12 week ultrasounds and what to expect, I was so unbelievably excited to see our baby alive and moving especially since we made it to 12 weeks (if you have miscarried before you know what a milestone that is)The older ultrasound tech I had was cold and direct. When I asked her if I could hear the heartbeat or if I would be able to see the baby after realizing the ultrasound was almost over and I still hadn’t seen them she told me the machine is too powerful and could cause damage to the baby’s heart and this ultrasound is only to check for abnormalities. I understand not being able to hear the heart beat but there was no bedside manners when it came to me wanting to see my baby. She explained this hospital is essentially for basic testing. At the end of the ultrasound she told me I could take a picture of only the one she had enlarged which only showed my baby’s face. When I went to take the photo she hovered over me and angrily told me to zoom in and only take a photo of the one picture.I waited until I left the clinic until I burst into tears as I was hurt and disappointed with the care I had received. It was cold, not personable and lacked basic empathy. If you are expecting and need an ultrasound please do not go here especially if it is your first.

I do not recommend bringing your children here at all! I brought my 5 year old son to the walk in to get him checked because he was complaining about a sore throat , vomiting and was not eating or drinking for a week. His lymph nodes in his neck were so swollen you can see it and it was up to his ears! The doctor came in with already a nasty attitude and barley checked my son, shoved a vivid swab down his throat that traumatized him because his throat was already so sore and because he was crying from the pain she was lie oh forget it and threw the swab out ! She then told be he did not need antibiotics and that the lymph Nodes will go away on it own while I can clearly see how much pain my 5 year old son was in ! Being a mom and having instincts I did not take her advice and rushed my son to the medical trust centre on simcoe and was able to get a second opinion, thanks god for that doctors who looked at my son and immediately Gave him antibiotics because his tonsels were so big that they were concerned it would start to effect his breathing and updated me to keep an eye out how the medicine works because I may have to bring him to the hospital, thank god he is doing better now but it really goes to show that always get second opinions wjth doctors and listen to your gut because some of these health care providers should not be working in the system if they do not care for a child’s life. Please me aware

Reviewing specifically for the ultrasound department - the reception staff is rude and unprofessional, talking about patients inappropriately behind their plexiglass wall. I went for my 12 week ultrasound and not only was my husband not allowed in the room, she wouldn’t show me the screen of our baby moving or anything. Her response was “next time” as if our fertility journey hasn’t been a long road getting here and high risks of miscarriage make me fear there won’t be a “next time”. After tears streaming down my face the entire time she allowed me to take a picture of the screen before I left. I feel completely robbed of such an incredible moment, wish I read these reviews before I went. I do not recommend anyone to go here and I will never be back.

It was a bit chaotic with so many people and very little space in the lobby and waiting room. I haven’t been here in years. Ultrasound- My tech Hailey was super friendly and talked me through everything. She made me feel comfortable and got me a pillow too. I initially was nervous, but within two minutes of talking to her all that anxiety I had went away. The actual room was very clean… She definitely deserves a raise. Enjoyed my experience considering I only came here since my normal ultrasound clinic was booked up until after I give birth.

Before covid, I had been coming to urgent care for years. It was always great. My experience was different today though. I arrived at the clinic around 8:45am, i was the 2nd person in line. I had some sort of heat rash on my inner thighs that was causing tons of pain while I walk, so I wanted to get a doctors note to be put on a modified duty at work. An older middle eastern female doctor told me that I would have to file a claim with WSIB. When I explained to her that I didn’t need to do that, she told me she couldn’t do anything for me. I explained multiple times that I just needed to be on a modified duty at my job for a few days instead of being on my feet for 8 hours. She looked at me and said “Why would I write you a doctors note when this same thing could happen again next week?”. Needless to say, I was shocked. She was extremely condescending, and although it has been hot weather recently, it didn’t change the amount of pain I was in while walking. She didn’t want to look at the rash or prescribe me any kind of ointment. Just told me to come back when I was ready to file a claim with WSIB. I wish I caught her name so I could blast her on here but unfortunately I didn’t.

Dr. Manisha Sharma (I think that was her name - petite South Asian female) is the worst doctor ever. She would refuse to order an abdominal ultrasound just because I mentioned to her that I had a pelvic ultrasound ordered by a diff walk-in months ago. I kept repeating to her that I’m in a lot of pain and it’s getting worse by the day but she said that she did not want to “waste ministry’s resources”. Are you serious? She went on to say that I should go to the emerg if I wanted an u/s right away. So she doesn’t care about burdening emerg and using up ministry resources that way? It’s our taxes that go into OHIP and we all deserve to have access to the healthcare system. I’ve never had an issue with this clinic before - the receptionist, the nurses and all the other doctors have been very good. It’s a pity their clinic is being brought down by the likes of Dr. Sharma.

Absolutely the best, there was maybe a 5 minute wait line and everyone is so nice and helpful! My entire visit with waiting for a prescription was less than 50 minutes!! I’ve never had this before

I'm not sure why there are lots of negative reviews. They called me twice to make sure what needs to be done and reminded me the previous day of my appointment. I came here for Ultrasound exam, the receptionist were cool.Debbie who did my ultrasound was amazing. Very friendly, took care of every detail. I have never seen someone who has so much empathy towards a patient.Kind Regards, D.K.S
