Please don't hire them! I had a second vacation home and had TLC for services. It always seemed strange that it took so long for them to clean the small home but I wasn't there full time so just paid the bill. Cleaning was ok. Moved into a new home full time and had them start cleaning there. By coincidence I added a security camera inside the house. After several services where the home cleaning was not good, I looked at the camera and discovered that the first 35 minutes was them having lunch, using my appliances and even my silverware. I also learned why sometimes I came home to all my paper towels being used. They used them for their lunch. Floors never looked clean. Toilet bowl clean was poured in but not always swished around so I had blue lines running down the bowl until I cleaned or they wore off. But the worse was discovering, by now knowing when they came and left, that they were charging me for up to an hour and one-half --- every time. I now know why it took so long to clean a smaller home. I asked to talk to someone but it took weeks to hear from the owner who left me a message that he would cut my bill in half and 'talk' to my cleaning team. In my opinion, charging up to 1-1/2 hours more - for up to 7 years - was stealing and talking wasn't the solution. Firing was. So ... if you already have them, I suggest you check up on them to make sure they aren't over charging you. If you are looking for a company, pick someone else. I have a new company and the first time they cleaned I couldn't believe my floors could look so clean. Something I never saw from TLC.

Very rude, and extremely unprofessional at the most ridiculous and inconvenient of times. Not a good company to work for. Very unreliable cleaning due to unorganized work scheduling, ethics and just overall very unprofessional environment. Poor pay, poor scheduling, extremely temperamental owners, management. Tread carefully when doing business with them. Ensure you’re being charged correctly and your instructions were clear to cleaners and company. Very poor communication within management and employees

Got fired for speaking up about how Amanda (their daughter) wasn't doing much to help clean a few houses and for doing overwhelming work. They also wanted me to work past my hours I could do although they had me clocked out. They acted okay at first and then father (Matthew) called me later on and Instead of solving things made things worse. They manuplitaed the situation andfired me.

The owners take advantage of their employees. They allow their daughters to boss around other workers while they sit on their a**, then proceed to blame others when the job isn’t done. When their daughters don’t get their way daddy comes to the rescue and fires people just so their daughters don’t take the fall. If you want a good business maybe try separating personal and family from business. There is no reason why your employees should feel like they can’t speak up just because your offspring feel entitled.

I really tried. I was very clear when I first contracted them that I wanted the same 2 people every time and I wanted the first appointment of the day on a set day every month. They complied twice. I continually had to call them and each time I called, I was told, oh

From looking at their reviews it seemed like this company is nice to their employees, But unfortunately that is not true. I understand getting employees is challenging at the moment but hearing from a few of their past employees this is not the best establishment to work for. They overwork their employees and they let their family members do less work while on the clock knowing that others employees will finish their job for them. And when spoken to them about the issue they choose to ignore it and place no fault on their family members and excuse their lack of work effort

I have worked for TLC two separate times, the first time I found them to be very unorganized and all over the place making it quite the stressful work environment for me so I left. I decided to give them another chance recently ( about 2 years later) and found that basically nothing has changed if anything it has declined all around it seems they are unprofessional to not only their employees but also their customers. They blame their employees for their own unorganized methods and don’t seem to take much responsibility at all. Also they mix family with the work place, one example being: I worked with their daughter who cleans for them and she did not do a good job I had to pick up the slack and do 80% of the work while she stayed wiping one thing down the whole time. Me and my partner worked with her and found she still did the same thing..so once we finally spoke up about it, the situation was handled poorly and my partner was actually fired for expressing her frustration and being honest -so I decided to leave this company for the last time because I will not stand for being treated rudely and unprofessionally.I would not recommend anyone work here, you will surely be disappointed.

I had a small fire and a mess from a fire extinguisher and the landlord called TLC for the cleanup. It’s really nasty stuff if you’ve never seen the fallout from the extinguisher. The ladies were late but my shiny bathroom made up for it. They did my floors but they didn’t get them done to my liking. I feel it was the “mop” they used and the wood floor needed some muscle put into it.
