Tried for the first time because I was passing by and had a Groupon. Don't think I will be returning. The portions are extremely small and the flavours are not really there. I opted for meal 3, which was supposed to be a double meat portion but sadly it was less than half when compared to many other shawarma outlets. Also the shawarma really didn't seem like shawarma but more like cubes of chicken breast meat.. After reading all the positives reviews, I was truly expecting something decent but was really disappointed. Maybe this is the best Waterloo has to offer and therefore the reviews reflect that. I do wish them luck in their family run business venture.

Fantastic. The food I got was so flavourful. The person I was talking to (presumably the owner) was very nice and seemed excited to tell me about the food. The wrap was made fresh infront of my eyes. Did I mention it was super flavourful? Definitely coming here again, and going to drag my wife with me haha

You have to try Saj Time. I absolutely promise you won't be disappointed. You will get super friendly service from the moment you walk in the door, and you'll walk out with amazing food. This Lebanese food is authentic . They make the saj bread right in front of you. The toppings are fresh and delicious. I came here because I had a group on, but I'll return again and again because of the quality of the service and food :)

In the spirit of full disclosure, I should say up front that I don't know the first thing about Lebanese cuisine. But the bread is fresh, the rice is perfect and they make a damn fine wrap. Definitely a thumbs up from me.

My favourite was the meat pie which they have as a special on Saturdays, definitely a must-try! I also tried the banatella, which was a perfect dessert! Will definitely be visiting more often. The family owners are very nice too!

Homemade sauces, fresh herbs, and hands down the best shawarma I've ever had. The bread is BAKED FRESH WITH YOUR ORDER! This is a little Mom & Son shop you will be glad you found. The only thing was the dips too fresh and real for our bland grocery store hummous taste. We'll be back to hone our tastebuds!

The falafel is amazing! Best Shawarma place I've been to in Waterloo for sure. If I need food and I'm in that area this is for sure where I'm going. You will not regret getting a falafel wrap unless your stomach hates joy.

One of my favourite restaurants in Waterloo, this one is particularly unique for their special Saj stove (a dome shaped stove) on which they make their bread (saj) fresh right in front of you. All their food is fresh (even the dough is made from scratch) and it’s authentic Lebanese style. The family that owns it are super friendly and very easy going people.

This was my first time trying lebanese food. I have to say I was very IMPRESSED! Excellent portions for food at a very affordable price. I got their daily special for $4.99 and that saj sandwich was very filling. This was a great new experience for me and I hope it will be for you too
