Golden Ears Provincial Park
Took a 4.5k hike up the mountain. It was other worldly. Not up to the difficult part of the climb that goes on from there but great for a novice.

We went to allouette lake. It was very nice. The day we went was quite a cloudy chilly day, so the lake did not look a very pretty colour because of the gray clouds. But the scenery was amazingWe went to the picnic beach area, and it got crowded very quickly. And lots of ppl doing BBQs there. There's a short hike around the dam. It was very nice. Would go there again on a sunny day. The washrooms are decent. They have changing rooms too. The walk after the dam, dogs were allowed. The parking gets packed very fast, there's 2 parking lots the one closest to the beach gets full very fast and the second one was pretty empty the whole day but it's a long walk to the beach.

From West Canyon parking lot to Summit 4h14 - we were booking it! 7am departure was key to avoid the mid day heat. Out of the treeline after 2h30 and in full sun. Drank 6l of fluid (I sweat alot!). Water sources at Alder flats and Panorama ridge. Down was just under 4 hours as we enjoyed the views and took some photos. 24.6km round trip with no side trips so not sure All Trails is accurate. Great hike, highly recommend it. Difficuly level for summitting in one day is advanced.

This is a must see when visiting BC! The lake is breathtaking and looks like it belongs in a painting! This is our favourite morning stroll spot, we grab some Starbucks then spend the morning enjoying what Golden Ears has to offer. Really worth seeing. You will need a reservation to visit before 4 pm but spots free up and are easy to book using the online site.

The hiking trails in this park are perfect for a good workout. The terrain is a mix of loose pebbles and packed earth and is fairly well maintained. The entire trail is well shaded and is a perfect place to escape the mid day sun.I've done this trail 3 times now and only came across another group a couple of times, so if you dont like crowds, this is a good place to go.I would definitely recommend this trail to others.

A very safe and calm environment to spend holidays and have hours to relax and meditate and be friends with nature. Mountains, lakes, rivers and waterfalls are very beautiful

Beautiful location, lots of trails to choose from, generous camp sites, flush toilets, showers, super-careful host team maintaining everything. What else could you ask for?

One of my favourite places to go rain or shine! Absolutely beautiful and has many quiet spots. My dog loves it.

This is for the south beach and trail area. The waterfront lake here has many picnic benches that will fill up quickly during the warmer season. Come here early if you want to use one. A lot of park goers BBQ, play ball games, canoe or kayak and enjoy time with friends and family. There are plenty of parking that if the first set of parking space is unavailable, the second set will have your back. The trails in this area is quiet, legible and peaceful. In busy seasons, the washrooms can get full to the point where you have to wait in line or use the outhouses. There is a fountain right in front of the public washrooms for drinking water, not for cleaning activities.
