Ramen Gojiro
Shoyu ramen was very delicious and the soup was among the best ones I've had. The quality of noodle and chashus also exceeded my expectations. Tsukemen, on the other hand, was not exactly good. Their tsukemen sauce is less thick compared to most of the places (e.g. Taishoken) and almost soupy. You will need to dip a sizeable amount to get the flavour out. Egg was not the best as it lacked the flavour. Overall, it's a decent place for ramen but boy, it's so hard to justify $20+ after taxes and tips for a bowl of noodles nowadays. Ramen shouldn't be this expensive (it's cheap in Japan).

I’ve only gone here once or twice now but it is now one of my favourite spots to go for Ramen! Staff are super friendly. Portions are worth it, soup is super flavourful! I suggest getting the basic!I recently tried the Yuzu Shio and it was so delicious, the chicken meat wasn’t dry at all, it was very moist. I did sub the thin noodles for thick though for personal preference! The Yuzu Jelly was so delish and refreshing! Was nice to have after the ramen. Not too far from Granville, definitely suggest trying it out if you are in the area.

It was our first time trying ramen from Gojiro and I really enjoyed it. I usually can't tell the difference between different ramens from different ramen restaurants, except for the saltiness level, and I thought the ramen here was not too salty and just to my liking.I had the Vegetarian Ramen (the mushroom and the bamboo were really delicious), my brother ordered the Basic Ramen with Karaage and my hubby tried the Tsukemen Chasu. We were all very happy with our meal. There was no lineup when we arrived at Ramen Gojiro but the restaurant was full so we sat at the shared table right by the entrance, which is my only small complaint because it was a bit chilly in April.

Staying in the St. Regis & having dinner in big restaurants but this small quaint Japanese restaurant topped them all. 2 “ walk from my hotel & had typical homemade spicy fried rice. Good job guys… keep up your good work. Will come next time I visit Vancouver again.

Visited there on a Friday afternoon, they were busy but no so busy that I had to wait in a line. Got myself the Yokohama Iekei and it was savory, and the staff was very friendly. Would love to try their other stuff too, kinda wish they offer better chopsticks though.

We went at 7PM on the Saturday of Easter weekend. It had been drizzling and raining lightly all afternoon. I had to wait about 5-8 mins for a table for 3 + a baby. We were asked if we were okay sharing a table with others and there was another couple already at a 8 seater beside us. I said yes that's fine. I had the Spicy Bakamori with karaage (fried chicken) and added one ajitama (marinated boiled egg), spice level spicy and rich soup. My friends enjoyed their basic with karaage, although they gave them mild by accident instead of the spicy they ordered. So the server brought their spicy sauce, but it wasn't really that spicy. Maybe for caucasians, but for a Westerner like me who can handle spice, and my Chinese-Canadian friends, we basically couldn't detect the spice. If you want truly spicy, get atomic (we haven't tried it). The spicy gyoza (dumplings) were good too. They had the fried crispy mark on each side, nice and moist inside, good salt level (although I prefer heavy salt level).I was visiting from Ottawa where I have yet to find good ramen, although there are a few in town, so I had high expectations of Vancouver ramen. Gojiro did not disappoint. It was excellent. I loved it. But the spicy karaage bowl for me was way too much. I would've been ok with half the portion. The couple beside us had it when I sat down, so I lusted after it, eyes bigger than stomach cause I had skipped lunch. I'm a big man (6'1 238 lbs./187cm 108kg) so I finished it because I could and I hate wasting food

Amazing ramen, amazing service. Prepare to wait a little in the line to have a seat but it totally worth it. So tasty broth in a very good portion of noodles. I order the spicy one and it was perfect to taste the flavour but still edible. This spot is a classic in downtown and now I know why. I will come back a soon as I can.

I like it there. Tasty ramen, good portion and nice price. In my personal taste, the broth is just a little bit salty so I could not have it all. Ordering was easy and orders came quickly enough too.The location is great too.
