I had the worst message ever. She used a very tense elbow pressure that game me a lot of pain. It was supposed to be a whole body message but many areas in my body was ignored, while I asked the lady to do everywhere. The receptionist are nice at first but when you give feedback then they start talking in Chinese and make you feel uncomfortable. I won’t come back to this place. They might have couple people who give good message, but the one I got didn’t know how to do message and only focused on shoulder and arms which are my problematic areas but I didn’t ask to only get those areas worked up.

Absolutely horrible, receptionist was friendly at first. Then later she keep delaying the process as the therapist kept saying 15 min to get there as she was still on the road. She ended up coming 40 minutes late. Started off with the therapist just pushing onto the body which I thought was okay since that might’ve been a start up procedure. But as time went by she was all over the place and a mess, it did not feel like a RMT at all, very unprofessional. The head rest was very uncomfortable to the point where you start getting a headache and no arm rest so it becomes uncomfortable. At the end I wanted the receipt but the receptionist would give me a proper receipt instead what she claimed with my insurance. Overall it was a horrible experience, things to improve is the skills and on time of RMT.

We’ve been going to Alfa Wellness for many years now. Before and throughout the pandemic—they’ve been consistently great at the service. Even after moving out of the area, we still come back to this location for our massages.Highly recommended & while its a very busy location, they are also accommodating & we find the time to get our massages in whenever we can.

Bad bad bad, if I could give half star I would definitely do so… I showed up for my appointment at the spa, shortly after I was escorted to a room where I was ask to get undress. Once in the room I noticed it smells really foul and the sheet was so dirty with lots of unclean spots on them as if they haven’t been change for the last couple of clients prior. The chairs was also greasy and dirty.I was reluctant to undress for my massage but figured they might charge me anyway so I use my shirt to put where my face would touch the bed and lay down waiting for the massage therapist to come in.I laid in the cold dirty room for 30 minutes and no one showed up to give me my massage. After waiting another 5 minutes I got up get dressed and went to the receptionist to ask why I was in the room waiting and no one showed up, she pretended not to understand English. I then left the spa.Honestly I am still in shock to know someone can get away with this type of behavior and to the most part in more shock to know places like this pass inspection in Scarborough, especially in a time like now.Oh my I’m still in shock knowing that places like this existed.I recommend that people think long and hard before going going to this place if they care for their health.

3star is me being generous.The vibe of the place is good and that’s the only good thing about it. The rooms are nice but the massage beds are not so comfortable. I couldn’t even fit properly on them. Also the room felt cold, there were no heated sheets either and they didn’t even dim the lights until almost done and even thats not the worst thing about the place, their massage therapists are. I cant believe they are registered therapists. I never felt soo irritated while getting a massage. Felt like they didn’t know what they were doing, didn’t target a proper area and were just doing something all over. I would NEVER pay to get massages from them. The only good thing was heated stone massages I guess.

If there were more than 5 stars that’s the rating I would give them . My husband and I went for a couples massage it was done by Cindy and Nicola they were the best . Cindy was my masseuse she was AMAZING she took her time and paid attention to all areas of my body . She was kind and friendly. Although we were 20 mins late for our appointment they still took us in and completed our 1 hour appointment. After our massage the Manulife direct billing wasn’t working as the systems were down for Manulife, the receptionist is the sweetest girl I met in a business she was so sweet and said she will try doing the billing again the next day when Manulife services were restored. The next day she called and let us know that she had charged Manulife directly and she allowed us to make the payment for the difference that day as well. I’m definitely going to come back here for all my facial and massage needs . They were great !

Sabrina was amazing. She gave me a very relaxing massage. My tight muscles & knots are all gone. She's very accommodating and considerate. 5 stars for her.

I went in today for a couples massage with my daughter. Booked online, and showed up for our massage. There was NO consultation with the receptionist beforehand, she wasn’t even there when we showed up. The massages were decent, no real complaint there. It was everything afterwards that blew my mind.After our massage I was told by the receptionist that to get insurance receipts you need to tell them before the massage. That makes zero sense, since it’s just a receipt. After waiting all day for them to call me to “figure it out” I phoned back and was told their “online special” is not with an RMT. Is that even legal?Anyone checking this place out should be very careful because after this experience the place seems very shady to me.I should add this was the Scarborough location. I have not been to any of their other locations.

I’ve been here a few times and my experience was pretty pleasant. The staff is always friendly. I’mWilling to give it another try but they need to do something to minimize the noise. There were children running back and fourth in the hallway and you can hear people talking very clearly. The sheets were washed but had make up stains and the room was cold when I went on Sunday. It was cold in my last visit as well. My massage was ok, but not as good as I had hoped. The RMT was very kind and did the best she could. Also, the pricing for devices other than massage needs to be more clear. I was told my facial would be $115 which is already very pricey for a a collagen facial. I’ve had the same done for $75 elsewhere but when I got my bill I was actually charged $129.
