I was a little disappointed with having dead bugs in my tub and a hole in the ceiling where the fan should have been. But the bed was comfy and for one quick night It was satisfactory. There was no microwave in the room, but it did have a mini fridge. Also, as a solo female moving to a new province, I was a little nervous about how there was only a push lock on the door for security! The owner was very nice however and as it was one of the only places to stay in the area.

Rude and crude. I walked in after the sun had just set, realizing i needed to stop, dinged the bell for service, and was yelled at from a back room to go away. Of course I misunderstood, went outside and yelled for service, went back inside and dinged the bell again. No answer. So took a little walk, went back inside. Then heard an aggressive voice telling me to leave. This entire episode took 30min btw. I had walked around, all the maintainence doors were open lol, place was not secured. So obviously one would think there is service. Nope. So I got in my crv, started driving to the parking lot so I could sleep in my crv for the night. And saw this guy shut off the open sign, shut off the lights, and locked all his doors. Lol, I should have just grabbed keys and paid in the morning since they were within my reach.LSS- I did not feel safe. would not recommend anyone alone travel this highway and depend 9n this establishment"Lmao

Bed were very comfortable. Very quiet, was last hotel of my company successfully booked since Thunder Bay all booked, due to events. The hotel owner was amazing. I would go there again, price is very reasonable. Nice thing is the gas station and store on site. Important was the excellent rest there. We left approx 9am back to Winnipeg. Please don’t listen to the negative review, they just think everything have to be perfect haha.

Very cool store and possibly the best burger I've every had. Amazing mini blueberry pies. Will definitely be stopping again next time through.

I have no idea what the rooms look like as we didn't stat at the hotel. The gas station was the reason we stopped there, we ran out of gas an a wonderful lady opened up early for us and gave me the BEST service I've ever gotten from a small town! Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality!

Great room for great price. It's a no frills motel but it was CLEAN! And pet friendly. I recommend it

Wi-fi doesn't reach the rooms and they offer single ply toilet paper. Need I say more?Location was good but that's it. No coffee in the room and the only store for many km (their store) doesn't open till 9am.Grimy bathroom and the shower is for short people.

Do not recommend. One of the two beds smelt really bad. The back window had only partial covering, if someone walked along the back of the building they would be able to see right in without us even knowing in the dark. The only lock on the door was a press and turn of the handle. There was also a spider web in a corner with a bunch of dead bugs in it which made me second guess the cleanliness. On the up side the sheets and towels looked nice and clean and the people running it were super nice but I wouldn't pay $100 for a night here. I know it is serious to make these kinds of comments about how someone makes their living but I wish I had read reviews closer to the truth so I could have picked somewhere else to stay.

We were going to run out of gas on our way to Thunder Bay and so we thought we would call around to get a room for the night where we were but they were all booked up. The owner was nice enough to open her gas pumps for us even though she was on her way to bed. She saved the day for us and we were able to make it to Thunder Bay and sleep in a motel instead of our car. This is amazing customer service!! Thanks so much!
