A great little restaurant in Essex. Personable service and the waitress made us feel very welcome, she went above and beyond for my family. Food was delicious, the blt was AMAZING. We will be back very soon. Good prices and clean. Lots of parking.

Took my family here for lunch today. The srrvice was fantastic! The waotress was amazing with both my children. She went above and beyond with them and was so very kind. The food was fresh and delicious. My daughter loved her french toast and the turkey club was delicious. The restaurant was very clean with an at home feel. Lots of parking.

Stopped in today for the first time. Had the Talbott breakfast and clubhouse I don’t need tomato, so there was no tomato on it. It was delicious. Even the coffee was fantastic. Service was great absolutely recommend.

Chuck’s was closed for a party, so we popped over to check out the Charcoal Pit. We got the half rib dinners, with coleslaw and dollar chips. The ribs were just perfect! Great service, wonderful people working there. We will be back for sure now that we have found this hidden gem!

I have no clue how this has 4.4 star reviews.Pros.Quick service.Got our drinks and food quickly.Coffee was hot.Lots of cream.Seat yourself style restaurant.The French toast was okay.Waitress was friendly.Bacon was amazing.Cons.I had the Talbot breakfast. Seemed like a good deal and the amount you get is filling. However the hash browns had a fishy undertone, like they were cooked on a grill after a fish. Maybe it was just me, but it seemed fishy over all, which didn't help the eggs.Eggs overeasy were runny. Not like a little bit of almost cooked egg that's white, no, it was snotty runny eggs, you know, super undercooked and kinda slimy. All three.Some people like that,if you do, then enjoy.I do not.Their bench seats aren't designed for the more robust of us.Over all it really was an okay experience, but I'm not sure we would go again.

Food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly, truly went above and beyond! The woman working tucked a napkin into my 3 yr old son's shirt, and held my crying baby so I could eat.The food was made up very quickly, and was really good. My son had the kid's burger with dollar fries (I stole a few, so good!), and I had the chicken quesadilla. We will definitely be back again soon.
