Spent about 4 days in PEI and Blue Jade was the best restaurant so far. Menu is clear and simple, it’s very cosy and we noticed he owns an impressive collection of DragonBall mangas. The staff is super tidy and welcoming, I loved it <3

Great value and authentic. Highly recommend the pan fried buns and just about any one of the homemade dumplings. If you are looking for Canadian-Chinese or American-Chinese, search elsewhere. If the pics of the food here on Google is familiar to you, then come here. Not expecting this in PEI, so really quite a surprising find.

We’re visiting from Toronto which is famous for their wide selections of Chinese food. But this one easily beats so many Chinese restaurants from Toronto. Everything we ordered were so YUMMY! I’m from China and I cook so I know exactly what AUTHENTIC Chinese food taste like. Our fav is the dumplings and Chinese hamburger. We were really really happy we went to this restaurant and we already missed it since we left! The owner couple are really kind and so easygoing to chat with! Hope to see this restaurant come to Toronto one day :)

So delicious! I thought it was a million item Chinese menu type restaurant but was surprised that it was a dumpling house instead lol. However, the dumplings were awesome! My picky kids slurped them up so definitely kid-approved.

Went there for dinner without much expectation, but the food completely blew me away. The dumplings are better than most restaurants in Ontario and it is really a pleasant surprise in PEI. The Chinese Burger (Rou Jia Mo) is delicious, definitely recommend it. Would come back again.

Clean and cozy place.Delicious homemade foods! Menu is simple but everything we tried was wonderful!Bonus - plenty parking available right next to the restaurant.

My husband and I tried Blue Jade for our New Years Eve Chinese food feast and it was absolutely amazing!! We tried one of everything off the menu and I give it all 5 stars! It’s unlike any other Chinese food restaurant on PEI and it’s by far the best! If I had to choose my favourite item on the menu I would say the Chinese Hamburger and my husband said he can’t choose because it’s all so fabulous, but if I twisted his arm he would say the dumplings fried in the garlic oil. To top of off the owners are really sweet and personable. We will definitely be going back to Blue Jade again and I would highly recommend you trying it if you haven’t yet!

This. Restaurant is very quiet and clean. Their menu is simple but each and every item on there is homemade and absolutely delicious. If you are interested in takeout they package their food comes perfectly packaged.
