Queens Pharmacy (Compounding Pharmacy)

I want to let people know that although GOOD customer service is rare these days YOU will find it at Queens Pharmacy.I've been struggling for over 6 wks. to get my 93 yr. old Dad's prescriptions moved to a pharmacy closer to his new residence. The service was lousy at best and it was just too large and too many people behind the counter.One never knew what the other was doing. They never did get his file in order and I was recommended Queens Pharmacy" by a good friend who has gone to them for years.I made a call and explained my situation and frustration.The pharmacist took over from there and within minutes she had it allworked out.We got our covid booster there a few days prior and went back to pick up the paperwork. Mina had just closed and was ready to drive away. He saw us pull in and he offered to go back in to get it for us. We told himthat we would come back the next day but he said it was fine and unlocked the pharmacy to get our paperwork. Talk about going above and beyond...........WE were SUPER IMPRESSED!!IF you are looking for personalized service this is the place!!"

I found that this place may be small in size but large in information and helpful employees.Extremely nice, so very helpful and most importantly to people like myself who have a issue with patience. Not busy and very pleasant people who know and want to help!I used this location for my covid-19 shot. Moderna is what is being offered. I had no problems with the dose for my first shot. I will be here again for my 2nd covid shot. Moderna worked for me with little or no side effects!Great little store right beside the Iron Horse Trail. Across the street from the Iron Horse Towers apartment buildings! Parking is free.Adding onto the replied comment by myself..I went here for my second covid-19 shot as it was booked for me this time upon my first time being here. It was not busy the 2nd time either. Leaving the pharmacy after 2nd shot it was not stated when the next available shot was ready for the public at that time as they were trying to develop a 3rd or booster shot.See my other comment on where I went for the booster & 4th covid-19 shot.

Not the most organized. Asked for a call when my prescription was ready & has to call them when I hadn't heard. And it had been ready for a few days.

This pharmacy is by far the most friendly, professional, and compassionate pharmacy I have ever had the pleasure of attending. Mina is a courteous man who takes pride in making sure that his customers are satisfied. His newly small pharmacy gives one the feeling of being your neighbour who cares. Do you know what I mean; as if one were a family member, or a close neighbour. If you are looking for a pharmacy that always caters to your personal health care than go to Queens Pharmacy on Queen Street or Highland Road in Kitchener. You'll NEVER feel that you made a wrong choice, trust me. God bless you all..

Sign and website material say that these guys do flu shots on a walk-in basis. This is not true on the weekends. They should mention this online or on the giant lawn sign they have.Edit in response to owner response:Your suggestion that this was a supply issue is untrue, based on what I was told.I was told that walk ins were not possible on the weekends due to staffing, NOT vaccine supply. The gentleman working said that he was working alone and this prevented him from giving me the shot (I do not fully grasp why this is the case, but this is what I was told.) As this is a foreseeable staffing issue, and not a supply issue, I think that this should be made clear on your sign and online.

Very nice and professional staff. However, they did not do a great job of calling me when my prescriptions were ready to be picked up. I switched to another pharmacy and the difference was immediately apparent.

I've been treated very well by the pharmacist. Getting my medications refilled has been very quick and efficient . The discounts are great. I highly recommend this for those who are looking for a new pharmacy. Give yourself a chance to get to know about what they offer. It is well worth it.

Where professionalism is not sacrificing customer satisfaction.My doctor is in Waterloo. First time to go to this local pharmacy was by luck. I usually trust reputable chains. But with this one, I have to say, the service in Queens pharmacy was very efficient with a decent human touch.
