Ian and Ian run a wonderful business. They travel afar to find high quality gems and their designs are exceptional. They give a very personal touch to each piece. We will not use another jeweller.

Ian Horridge designed and made my wife engagement ring and both of us wedding bands over 7 years ago. She's Canadian, I'm Colombian, so, why not to get a nice Canadian diamond with a pretty Colombian emerald in the same ring :)We got so happy with the quality and craftsmanship, and attention to detail devoted for this amazing job.

I had my wifes engagement ring made from scratch here, custom ruby earrings made, and now a 6 stone family ring with a wave theme. These guys are ROCK STARS from beginning to end ALWAYS! I tell every single person that I hear talking about jewelry to them, why wouldn't I, its perfect every time. My wife had my wedding band custom made here as well and there is nothing else like it out there!

An amazing experience! We've been meaning to write this review for a while now. Ian Horridge crafted our wedding rings (7 years ago) & perfectly created our unique vision & story! Working with Ian H. was lovely and we continue to marvel at the craftsmanship & beauty of our rings. :) It may just be time to travel to Victoria for another piece of jewellery.....~ From a happily married couple in Calgary :)(If the Ians are reading this review, I suggest they have a website / Facebook page & send out a client email every now & again. My engagement ring was designed and made by a different jeweller. When we requested a modification to accommodate an upgrade, she refused. We're so delighted we found MacDonald & Horridge. They've been nothing but kind and helpful & were happy to help us out. We found the selection of gems to be outstanding, at fair prices. We're already working on another custom designed ring with them. Their shop is adorable - it has the feel of stepping into another world. I can't recommend them enough!

My husband had my engagement ring made here over 13 years ago and I love it! I get so many complements still today on it. And only this place is allowed to even clean my ring because I trust them only. I live in Southern CA and when I travel to BC this is the only place I go to to have my ring cleaned since they made it.You'll never be disappointed with there quality of work. There work was even admired at a jeweler in Trondhiem, Norway who made our wedding bands. This is the best place to go to!

My husband went to Ian with a preliminary design for my engagement ring and Ian made the most beautiful ring I've ever seen!! It is made incredibly well - I never take it off. Ian is very accommodating and just a really nice person. I HIGHLY recommend him!

I have had lots of work done like resizing rings, repairs and customizing pieces of jewelry. My fiance got my engagement ring done by then and it is so beautiful. Their craftsmanship is excellent and anytime I need something done I will be taking it to them. They are very accommodating, friendly and take the time to know what you want.
