My 90 year old mother had FGI remove two shrubs and plant two new ones. She wasn't quite happy with their placement and Allister (one of the owners) personally came over and moved them. Hired FGI for a landscaping job. Alistair knows his stuff. Very smart, professional. Quoted me the estimate on site. Knew how much everything cost. I paid a fair price.Crew worked efficiently. I asked him to come back and make a small fix and he did plus more. My yard looks great. Based on that and good customer service, I will hire FGI again in the future.

Been working with Alistair and his team for around 5 years now. They are always super friendly, easy to work with, and do great work. Has done everything for us in our yard including stripping the backyard and laying sod, redoing our beds with new beautiful plants, and regular mowing maintenance. Highly recommend.

He delivers on commitments and gives notice about what services his crew is performing and when. Without fail, he informs me about any changes to the plan we agreed upon.The crew is competent, open to direction, friendly and respectful. I enjoy working with and interacting with them.FGI Landscaping does the work I no longer can or want to do myself, leaving me free to do light work in the garden and enjoy it more. We have loved working with FGI Landscaping over the past two years. Alistair and his team are super responsive and wonderful to work with - we've been so pleased with all of the work they've done to keep our lawn and garden fresh! Especially in COVID when contractors are hard to pin down, his team shows up when committed and does a beautiful job. I just recommended them to my neighbor and also a friend new to town - no one better!

They did a good job cleaning out our yard. but we have a number of problems:1. Changed our plant order without informing us to something dramatically different than we’d agreed to.2. They verbally gave a quote (said “we’ll max it out at X”) and then sent a written $500 more. 3. They walk onto your property like they own the place, without letting you know they’re coming.4. Treats you like you’re stupid.5. Deeply misogynist.The work is fine. I’d they were the plants we wanted, it might be sort of good.

Alistair and team did fantastic work transforming our lawn and landscaping. Great collaboration; he listened to our needs and desire for low-maintenance plants and shrubs. He delivered everything as promised, on time and on budget. We couldn't be more pleased and highly recommend FGI Landscaping.

We moved into our home in April and immediately hired FGI Landscaping to do our yard work. They have done an absolutely fantastic job. The yard always looks wonderful. They took the time to go over everything we wanted for the plantings and made it look just how we wanted. They always stay in touch to see if we want clean up at the end and beginning of the season. They do just as great a job with the snow removal portion of the business as well. This winter we lost my partner’s son and therefore had a house sitting vacant. When I emailed Alistair, right before a big storm, to see if FGI could take care of the snow removal there, he said it would be no problem at all. They did a fantastic job at both our home and the vacant house. We could not be more impressed!

FGI did a great job for us last year. We needed work done on a 50 year old privet hedge that was just too much for us. They did an excellent job and made our property visually pleasing and user friendly.They also work for my daughter at her property and not only regularly keep the property well mowed and trimmed but have given excellent advice on plantings and have completed the plantings suitable for the area.

Have used FGI for years, and have referred many folks. They are professional in the true sense of that word: responsive, timely, do quality work, go beyond expectations, clean up thoroughly, offer suggestions and alternative services, accurate billing, responsive to feedback... I would not have been able to keep up my yard and property so well without them!
