I love this company I can rely on them anytime we need a cab service they are the best out there that I know so much fun with them in the cabs and and great services really clean and neat

Not very reliable, the few times I was in Port Hardy for the afternoon, I called for a ride to catch my appointment, they said they'll be there in a few minutes, but never showed up, I had to run to my appointment and showed up late.Then I wasn't aware the company can't go onto GN reserve so I had to cancel my afternoon plans, as I wouldn't have enough time to walk to the reserve and back to the mall for the bus.I wasn't very happy with their service.

The worst taxi company I have ever used. Didn't respond to emails or online bookings, I phoned their office and was put on hold countless times. 25 minute taxi journey turned up 1 hour 40 minutes late after we called them multiple times, being told it would be 10 minutes more waiting each time.Initially quoted 50-70 dollars for the journey, the meter came to 75 dollars. They offered an insulting 15 dollar discount despite a 400% delay. When I complained I was told she was having a bad day and was fed up of complaints...". She then told me she wasn't going to pick us up on our way back from Telegraph Cove so we had to illegally hitchhike back

UNRELIABLE.I called them at 3:15 pm to pick me at 3:45 pm from Superstore Campbell River. The lady said she will send. I waited there for almost one hour, two time she said they will come in 10 minutes and after that they did not pick my call. I called them 5 times. Lastly i had to return my groceries as i could not bring all stuff on bus. Atleast she could deny me at first, i had wasted my two hours because of them. Firstly, i bought groceries and then waited and then returned groceries. Very poor service.

If I could give zero stars I would.I called 2 weeks before my trip to Port Hardy to check the shuttle times since you can’t book them on their website and they don’t list which days they go.The lady was so rude that I seriously thought about skipping Port Hardy since they offer the only shuttle out of there.I emailed the explained that the women who answered the phone, when on about how busy she was, she was driving and didn’t know which day the shuttle was leaving the day I was requesting, she hung up on me.No email reply.When I got to Port Hardy. I thought they were the only taxi company too. They are not. No not use this company. I sadly did.The price from the ferry to the mall is $25. Ok. Well, I asked a women if she wanted to share the cab with me. The driver knew this. I didn’t think it needed to be a secret.When we got to the mall the driver wanted to charge us BOTH $20. Because we didn’t know each other, so she said said it was 2 trips.When I told her this is ridiculous. She never mentioned this when leaving the terminal. She freaks out. Charges the other women and leaves.I’ve never experienced a cab company so unprofessional.

Booked a shuttle from my airport hotel in Prince Rupert to the airport in Campbell River, agreeing to a price of $100, with a 9 am pickup. I was picked up on time by the owner in her own cab, and charged $40 for a 15 minute ride into town to meet their shuttle. On the way she refused a call for a pickup on her own private line, then called and berated two different drivers for giving out the number as I rode in the back. It cost another $30 to get from downtown to the airport in Campbell River. Outrageous! At least the cabs were clean and prompt.

They share no information on arrival time for bus service. My bus was set to arrive in Campbell River at 12:30PM for a 1PM departure for Port Hardy. I understand sometimes there is a delay as is to be expected when travelling, however the company does not offer any updates on arrival/departure times and is hugely lacking in customer service as their dispatch do not have any information on the busses…Their voicemail greeting says to not leave a message as they are overwhelmed. I imagine this is due to horrible customer service and lack of any communication to customers. Do better waivin flags.

If you take a taxi in Port Hardy ,,,,,,,,........Only take Waivin Flags if you want a driver who doesn'tcreep you out , Not only that but they go out of their wayto get to you on time .! They Smile too !

We recently had a PHENOMENAL experience with Waivin Flags! I was coordinating group travel for a crew of 14 with 3 different pick up/drops offs needed and Paige and Gary were always early with superb service. Highly recommend!

We were in Campbell River from Australia a week ago. The service offered by Waivin was exceptional.The drivers were courteous and always turned up on time.Highly recommend them.
