I’m one of the people that wasn’t aware of the existence of this place until I needed it. The staff were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and caring. I must thank Dr.Rodriguez for putting up with my high anxiety, my verbal diarrhea (due to the anxiety), and the patience, and care he had with me. It couldn’t have been easy doing an eye exam on someone who won’t stop talking, and thereby moving, but he did it!

I had no idea this place existed. Of course until I needed it. I was diagnosed with a detached retina on Wednesday and in surgery first thing Friday morning. I’ve already had 3 follow up appointments in the first week. Two scheduled and one due to high pressure in my eye. Which was relieved by a prescription. Despite being an extremely busy place, my appointments were timely and always greeted by friendly receptionists, techs, nurses, and doctors. Not everyone appreciates or understands the hectic daily grind these people work through. And I know some are more suited to this type of career than others. But in my experience I have nothing but praise to give.

I was diagnosed with a detached retina in February of this year. Very scary experience; the sight in my left eye went from relatively normal to practically zero in a couple of days. Happily, my optometrist arranged for an appointment here and insisted I go immediately. Dr Chaudhary saw me right away, though there was no clinic on. This was on a Friday; the surgery was scheduled for Tuesday morning. Ten days of sitting or lying with head down afterward, eleven weeks until the gas bubble was gone from my eye. Many many eye drops. Cataract surgery eight months later, then another five weeks to get new glasses prescription. Unbelievably, my sight in that eye now is as good as it was before the detachment. I had heard others refer to Dr Chaudhary as a miracle worker; I can attest to that. Five stars are not enough. No doubt I was lucky too, but in his care you can be sure you are in excellent hands.

Very unorganized. Unnecessarily long waits to be seen. Be prepared to wait ALL DAY!

I called a day before my appointment to reschedule. The front desk did not call me back to confirm the reschedule. So, I had to go there as my original schedule under a very bad weather condition. However, they told me it had been rescheduled. My doctor’s secretary even said someone at front desk called me before my appointment time re reschedule. When I said I did not get the call, she simply said there is nothing she can do. However, the front desk said they did not call but sent a letter. The secretary is such a horrible liar. The service is really below bar.

Regarding Dr Chaudhary: he's apparently skilled. But he doesn't think about his patient's quality of life. It's one thing to reattach a retina, it's another to leave the patient with such distorted vision that it would've been better for them to lose the sight in the eye and learn to adjust.I think he's just too busy and they need to recruit another specialist for Hamilton. And as for calling the office...I've never encountered a more rinky dink operation anywhere. They need more secretaries who are actually in the office and answering the phone. The system is TERRIBLE. You can only call on certain days and then wait endlessly for someone to call you back...which may never happen.

Such a rip off. There was no follow up after my initial visit. I called Dr. Chaudary's office at least 20 times and everytime it kept going to voicemail everytime I called. Save your time and go elsewhere.

Usually it is good but not this time. Had to wait 40 min for my visual fields had the test and sat for quite awhile listening to the techs talking finally went behind the screen to say ok I am done what happens now? Proceeded to OC T test unfortunately the tech must have been new unable to do the test so the senior person was called to do it. Not my best experience.

Impossible to get an appointment with faxed referral. Receptionists transfer you to the doctors, doctors transfer you to the receptionists. Very disappointed.
