A real gem to find. If youre looking for pieces to match or restore your century home or bring a taste of yesterday to any home, this is where you'll find them. Great insightful owners with vision and deep knowledge of their wares. In addition, some great artwork on display and available for purchase. 100% recommend a visit!

If you like salvaging material for projects, this is the place to go. You can spend hours here delving through old recyclables lovingly saved and cared for by John Sorenson.

My husband enjoys checking out old windows and doors. He purchased many this trip for his artwork, Cwmetaldesign. Like a step back in time when you enter the barn. John and Penny make every trip a fun experience.

Located in rural Eastern Ontario just North of the Thousand Island Bridge between Gananoque and Brockville. The barns to the original Warren homestead, built in the mid 1850's, are now filled with 19th Century rural architectural salvage from mainly Eastern Ontario. The rural character of this material is what distinguishes Balleycanoe from the typical architectural salvage operation. We carry a large quantity of doors, hardware, tin, porch posts, gingerbread, windows, stair parts, fire place mantles, trim, and many unusual decorative items that just don't fit any particular category. Most of the stock is in original paint and form.ArchifolkArt - There is something about fragments of our architectural heritage that inspires artistic expression. Ceiling tin, barn boards, cast iron finials, wire fencing, porch posts, balustrades, chair parts, sap buckets, fragments of stained glass, windows, etc. with old paint and wear and tear of age are used to create an endless variety of objects large and small. It's hard to describe what we produce. Have a look at some of the examples of our ever expanding inventoryA popular destination for house restorers, builders, decorators, store and restaurant owners, and antique collectors and dealers.
