Vilayala Retreat

Vivianne offers a one of a kind experience in her beautiful Vankleek Hill home. We stayed in the welcoming Sunnyside Studio and it was super cozy and bright with a beautiful bed, quaint reading nook, great little kitchen and nice sized bathroom! It had so much personality with the colours, the decor and vintage touches. I spent a lot of time in the reading nook, people watching from te large windows! The service with Vilayala was personalized and so pleasant! Vivianne met up beforehand to tour the room, gave us the keys and her contact information. The location was a short walk away from the cafe, thrift store and park. I highly recommend this space for anyone travelling for business or pleasure - it truly reflects the vibe of the village of Vankleek Hill. You WON'T be disappointed!

Well first of all I would have to start with the host . Vivian is truly a host in a league of her own . It is apparent that hosting and providing the most comfortable and relaxing experience is her goal . The room I stayed In on The main floor was large , the bed was very comfortable and the space just felt like a place you would like to live in :) the apartment is equipped with everything One would need to cook dinner or make breakfast. Needless to say, Vivian had mentioned more once that there is no need to be shy if I needed anything. I will be back again that is for sure!

My wife and I stayed in the Sunny side studio for a week in late May of 2023. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The host was welcoming and overall it was a very positive experience. Also Vankleek Hill is a quite, clean and charming community.
