Lone Star Texas Grill
Service was excellent and very accommodating to substitutions due to allergies! Even accommodated a drink order that wasn't on the menu (whiskey sour). We were a decent size group and she was on top of everything! The food was excellent. I hadn't been in a lone star in several years but had a good time.

We were visiting family in Ottawa and stopped here. The food was great. Served on time and hot. It only gets a four star review because of one reason. Looking from the outside in the place has a worn look to it. The front face has paint peeling which really gives a bad visual. But great food and employees

I was excited to come back to this location, I had been up to Ottawa from Florida and had a great experience before. This time we arrived and the extremely lethargic almost unwell looking hostess sat us and then we sat for another 20 minutes staring around waiting to be greeted by a server that never came by. The floors were filthy and the restaurant was empty. Not sure what’s happened there but it looks like management was not in the building. In the entire time we were there we never even saw a bartender behind the bar. It’s unfortunate because I raved about this concept in the states and it’s seems to have gone downhill in short time.

Went on Canada Day. Server was polite and speed of service was great. However the Con Queso appetizer we ordered, the cheese was ice cold. The food was also ice cold (Enchiladas). The margaritas were ice cold as they should be. The music was too loud and the hostess didn't say one word to myself nor my dinner guests when bringing us to our table. When I go out and spend money on a meal, I hope for it to be hot. Based on my most recent experience, I will not be returning to this location.

Came here for a sports team banquet and had fun. Although it is on the older side, this venue has a lot of space, making it a good location for group events.

A family get together when I visited Ottawa to see my kids and grandkids! It’s one of our goto places in Ottawa. Always busy with good food and drink! Mostly TexMex on the menu! Service was great and friendly! Reasonable prices!

Such a stunning location. The service was extremely quick. The second you get seated you're given tortilla chips and salsa to snack on while waiting for the main meal. Impressed by how frequently our waitress checked up on us. Highly recommend the Mexican poutine, both a comfort food and very flavourful. Their cocktails are also extremely delicious. The fajita meats were cooked perfectly. Overall a delicious meal.

I ordered Lonestar for my daughter’s bridal shower. They promised me they would follow the instructions I gave them they told me I didn’t order salsa and chips which I found out. I did. I ordered more when my husband went to pick up the order the woman said those 3 bags are yours. A staff member help my husband to the car. I said good luck have a nice day by the time he drives back home I get a phone call stating he forgot the rest of the order which he did not. He was told it was only three bags and a staff member agreed that that’s what she heard and thought they refuse to drive it to me. I live in the country. The manager was extremely rude on the phone. My husband had to drive back another 45 minutes, which wasted a lot of gas going there twice and back they did not. separate the orders as I requested it screwed up the timeline for the lunch and five people got food poisoning I called back the manager I spoke with basically was all about his staffing right and me being wrong. He apologized, but it was not a sincere apology. You could tell in his voice she was very upset and angry. I used to love this lone star restaurant blows me away. Only hire millennials that field. They are righteous and right all the time and are rude and do not care and the food quality has gone down so much. I do not recommend this location. They really don’t care they show it by the way they treat you.

I usually include the cleansiness of a restaurant in my reviews and this is why I gave this place a low score. The first floor bathroom were gross and falling apart. I know this is an old" building but it needs an awful lot of TLC inside

Lone Star Texas Grill
Our server was fine. Food was acceptable, though a bit on the salty side. The restaurant doesn't give you a particularly welcoming vibe, and the inside is not the cleanest. Prices are okay, but a bit over-priced for what you get. Not in a hurry to return.
