Very nice trail. Easy to walk. Even there has road map. But still east to get lost. Use “all trail “ apps is recommended. And be careful someone ride a bike there.

The trail is one of the city’s best trails, providing wilderness areas just outside of the city. You can even view what’s left of the old forest after the large fire many years ago. Has a kind of apocalyptic atmosphere to it. The trail is well maintained and beautiful all around.

As someone just getting back into mountain biking, this trail has it all! From technical root-filled areas to steep descents to some fast paced areas that really help work on cadence and pumping.I’m only hesitant to post this review as the day I went was overcast and cooler, which was perfect, as very few riders were on the trail. This allowed me to make mistakes without interfering with others’ rides. I can imagine that it fills up fast when the whether gets nicer. In essence, I don’t want to share!Get out and enjoy this not-so-hidden gem. You definitely won’t regret it!

Hard cycling. Easy hiking. Good even in the winter. Look for frozen water come subzero days. No shade for summer time walks. Bring water. There is a little lake if you go far enough to dunk yourself but its a ways in.

It’s more of rocks rather than a trail. That’s what makes this spot so special. Strange dry land yet it throws us right into true wilderness. Panoramic scenery takes our breath away. Follow the blue paint on the rocks to find the way back.

This was my first visit to McIntosh Run Singletrack trails - with me were my two kids, 5 and 8, and my husband. We had an enjoyable 4km hike through some of the trails, and my husband and I want to come back some day when we have more time to hit up a few of the other trails we saw. Certainly a fun place to spend the afternoon. Most muddy areas were by-passable but wear water resistant footwear just in case.

Aka Fight trail. MRWA is now formally managing the trail system out here, updating what has long been informal trail network. What was formerly a technically challenging, high consequence set of trails, are now being groomed into ++ accessible blues and greens. Check out trail forks for a trail map.
