Richmond Montessori School

This is a wonderful place. The teachers are friendly and very responsible and they always hug and show their loves to kid. I very much appreciate of that. Our son attended the school during the Covid, and he quickly got a lot of progresses including the self-management, skills, languages, and talents. Now, our kid can quickly accommodate himself in the new school for K program, which is benefited from the attending of RMS. It is an amazing school for kid to stay and grow.

I am not one to leave online reviews, but since we relied so much on online reviews when choosing this daycare, I feel compelled to relay our experience here to better inform prospective families. We were very disappointed with this child care centre.This is the fourth daycare we have experience with due to COVID and moving. We were happy with the first three daycares, but not with this one. We started late in the year, and we were provided with information regarding a transition plan, registration fees, etc., that was ultimately not honoured. We weren't included in core communications, which led to an administrative error on the school's end. While the school uses the HiMama app to communicate with parents on a sporadic basis, we were not invited to join the app until we asked if the school intends on using an app in the future.Our concerns were dismissed. When we spoke to teachers, they told us to email Asha and it would take her nearly a week to respond (if we got a response at all). We asked the teachers not to put our child down for naps 8 times before they listened to us as parents. There are a lot of food-related events at the daycare. When signing up for the school, we were told that when allergens are involved, they would work something out so our child would be included. This didn't happen, and special events" often happened multiple times a week

My daughter went to the Keslar location for over 2 years. She loved the school and misses it still. The teachers are extremely loving and caring and they teach kids a lot in a fun way. I would highly recommned this school gor toodlers.

Where does one begin, ... we've had the most positive experience the past two years at Richmond Montessori. The Staff is incredibly kind and loving. My son loved going to school and he is more than ready for Kindergarten. This is the 3rd of our three children and the only child who attended Richmond Montessori. I wish I had known about this school for my other two children. I was a teacher in an Elementary School for 13 years and I was beyond impressed with the work they do at Richmond Montessori. They have a large variety of activities available for the children and they get to learn at their own pace. We will truly miss the school and staff. Thank you for everything you've done for our son over the years.

We love this school! My son attended for 2 years (finished in June 2022) and learned so much! He stayed for kindergarten and by the end was able to do addition and subtraction with borrowing and carrying over, and is reading much higher than grade level. He did not even seem to realize how much he was learning because it was fun.There was also lots of opportunities for playing, the school has a large gym with lots of equipment and their own playground that the kids used daily. They are also located next to a playground where they would take the children sometimes.The staff is caring and welcoming, my son felt loved there. Ms. Piyumi was there to greet him every morning with a smile and a hug. Also, Asha and her staff were very attentive to my son’s food allergies and they went out of their way to accommodate him by baking special items he could eat safely or providing him with popsicles on days they were serving ice cream as a special treat. We have nothing but positive things to say about this school and their approach to childcare and learning!

Asha and her amazing team have done fantastic job for my family. They created a nice and worm circumstance for my child even if under the specific condition with a outbreak of pandemic. Their teachers are knowledgeable and professional, and they always know how to encourage children to develop their skills based on themselves characters. My daughter enjoyed her preschool learning here from 2019-2021 and told me what an incredible experience. I highly recommend this school to start an early learning!

We love this school and the staff is friendly and vey hard working. My son and daughter both attended this school and I highly recommend it to all parents who want their children to learn and to be well taken care of. I LOVE THIS SCHOOL!!!! My son joined in Richmond Montessori School in 2017, during 2 years, he learned lots. He growed with school, got lots friends. Montessori school let him know the rules like when to work, how to play with others, and the important of sharing. He really enjoyed the time with teachers and his buddies. And their Director Asha helped our family a lot! She treat us like family and always give us good suggestion.

My son had a great two-year experience with RMS. He was well looked after by the teachers and management team from every perspectives. Even if the COVID has made things more difficult, the School made sure children’s safety is the number one priority without compromising the quality of the program. I recommend everyone to consider this school for their children. Good memory.

My kid went there for a few years. We absolutely loved the school. Amazing staff to say the least.When we first moved to the area, I was scared about finding my son a good Montessori program. I went to meet a few places but when I first met Asha, it just felt like home. We were welcomed and she always did everything to make sure our needs were being met.My son loved the teachers and they always welcomed him with a hug.Teachers were very friendly and engaging with my kid. Learning environment was great, I truly felt that my son was learning lots there!I couldn’t recommend this Montessori school enough!
