We used to live in a world where referrals and word of mouth solely drove business forward. Today we live in a world where reviews online can turn the tide of business.Recently Prestige Fencing approached our neighbours with a quote that they felt was unfair. After politely declining, Prestige started work on a fence further down the block. Today the work started and my neighbours came home to a middle finger spray painted on their lawn.I'm not sure what the point of this was. Not only will my neighbours not be going with this company but the following is now going to happen:-Our block is now seeking the pricing of their direct competitor.-I am writing this one star review that will be seen by thousands.-We are going to cut our grass this weekend and the markings will be gone.What was the point?If you don't believe that one impulsive action can ruin a business, I challenge you to think differently.No one I ever speak with in the future will be enlisting your services Prestige.
