Great local food - serving up wonderful hot lunches on these increasingly cold days. Chilli, Pizza Thursday, hot sandwiches made to order (wrap, panini, toasted or not), and some tasty desserts (cookies melt in your mouth, muffins copious and good), there is something for everyone. Take a chance, open that door and go up the stairs. No regrets!

Very friendly service, reasonably priced AND delicious food! The people who run this store are great, I am so happy that they are open at a time when everything else downtown seems to be closed. Sandwiches are fresh and delicious, and I hear good things about the pizza. The cookies are amazing and I am looking forward to trying their breakfast next week!

I have had food from this restaurant a bunch of times. It is always delicious, and well made. I love any sandwich I get and they always have great customer service.My favourite is their chocolate chip cookies.The owners of the restaurant are wonderful. I will continue to eat/order from Whatta Sandwich.

Have made orders here for work on many occasions. They have always been excellent with ordering communications and the woman who delivers to our site is wonderful. We typically order their sandwich/salad combos for lunch and personnel always comment on how good they are. Protip: order extra cookies as 1 is never enough.

Great place for a quick responsable priced sandwich in the downtown core. I got the western sandwich. It was pretty standard quality wise. The staff are friendly. There are also a couple tables there if you want to dine-in.My only criticism was that the toast was burnt. Otherwise everything was decent. The person next in line got the breakfast plate and that looked really good! Would want to try that next time!Spent around $11 for a sandwich + drink

A lovely little sandwich joint, hidden away with just a sandwich board to tell you it exists!Will definitely be back though! Affordable compared to other places, and fresh, tasty ingredients!

A must-try if you're Downtown for lunch. I never feel guilty picking up food from here because it's as if I cooked it from my own kitchen, its consistently tasty and the ingredients are always so fresh!My favourites are the pasta salad and the detox 2 smoothie... and they even recognize me and begin to prepare it as I walk in the shop. I definitely recommend stopping here if you're looking for something quick, fresh, delicious, and healthy.

I called last minute to send our friends some supper because they have been at the hospital for days with a loved one who might pass away very soon. I explained the situation, and they were able to put together a bunch of salads, deli sandwiches and drinks for everyone within the next couple of hours AND deliver it to the hospital. Our friends were so happy to eat some amazing food. Super thankful for the awesome customer service and our friends said that everything tastes wonderful!!

Their Western Omelette is my absolute favourite! Everything is always made on the spot and I like that they always use fresh ingredients.
