My girls have had the privilege of dancing with the LLDA for many years now. Jessica Jone is a fantastic dance instructor and role model for my girls. The studio is professional and has taught my girls self-discipline, culture, and public performance. My girls have great elegant posture and flexibility thanks to Jessica Jone and her world class team of instructors.

I have been a student for about 9 years and can say that I absolutely recommend taking classes here. All of the teachers are passionate and caring, and classes are suitable for people of various skill levels and ages.I have learned a variety of classical, folk, and ethnic styles of dance and the history behind movements and costumes. There are even classes that aren't Chinese dance such as hip hop. If you're interested in learning Chinese dance, this is a great company to be with

As a mother, I watched my daughter grow up on stage with LLDA from kindergarten to when she graduated university. From not being about to tell her lefts from her rights to dancing solos, I watched the impact long term practice and consistent encouragement from instructors make. I would say that LLDA has a very healthy culture in dance teaching. Lorita and Jessica carefully teach all the girls and treat all the members equally. The students here not only gain dancing skills, but also a good work ethic. I am so happy that the dancing has a lot positive impact on my daughter.Seeing my daughter love dancing so much and wanting to find a type of exercise I would enjoy, I joined the adult dance class 2 years ago. I liked dancing when I was a child. I never thought that I could also enjoy it when I am almost a senior. Thanks to Jessica and LLDA for providing me this chance.

My daughter started Chinese Dance at LLDA when she was around 4 years old and 5 years later she cannot live without it. She absolutely loves Chinese dance, the teachers and the training that has been provided. She looks forward to going to her classes and can't get enough of it. The faculty members are all very kind, supportive, professional, patient, and caring. I would recommend LLDA if you are looking for a reputable and outstanding school.

I spent 17 years as a student here, and, from the bottom of my heart, I can truly say that I would recommend anyone–regardless of age or skill level–to consider taking dance classes here! The instructors are highly qualified at what they do, and the high teacher to student ratio also allows for lots of individual attention to each student.From going through the all 13 Chinese Dance syllabus exams to travelling to perform at countless venues, this academy has given me so many opportunities and experiences I am so thankful for. An added benefit was learning the history and origins behind different Chinese classical, folk, and contemporary dances, which helped me connect with my culture at a deeper level. Dancing here has been such a rewarding and fun experience that I cannot recommend enough :)

We have been part of the Lorita Leung Dance Academy family since our daughter started taking lessons at 3.5 years old. What impressed me initially was how professional they were. The teachers are all talented dancers who take their craft very seriously, and at the same time make classes fun and engaging. The level of instruction is very high and there are opportunities for the children to perform semi-professionally as The Little Pandas and The Lorita Leung Dance Company. I am so grateful to LLDA for being such a positive part of my daughter’s childhood.

My daughter has been dancing for 10 years since the age of 5 at Lorita Leung Dance Academy. The instructors here are very professional and patient with teaching the students. The studio environment is welcoming and pleasant. The principal, Mrs. Jessica comes from Beijing Dance Academy and my daughter has been learning dance with her for many years. Every year, the children also participate in the syllabus exam, which has really helped my daughter improve her confidence and stage performance. I am grateful for all she has obtained during the years she has spent at the academy, and all her teachers who helped her grow along the way.

I highly recommend anyone who is interested in Chinese dance (or other diverse types) to give classes here a try! The teachers here absolutely love what they do and only want the best for their students. They help ignite passion for the art as well as the culture, and you can’t help but fall in love with performing.I started at Lorita Leung Dance Academy when I was 5 years old. It’s now been 15 years and I can honestly say that LLDA has played such a big part in my childhood. Dance is, and has always been, a part of who I am, and I couldn’t imagine my life without it or all the memories and friends that I’ve made here. <3

I’d recommend this academy to anyone interested in Chinese dance. I enjoy dancing at LLDA in many ways and have been dancing there for almost 10 years now. There, I learned how to express myself through dance. I got to connect more to Chinese culture and learn about Chinese traditions, history, and dance styles. It’s cool that they offer different kinds of dance to learn, so you can explore more areas of dance. There have been many performance opportunities too. The instructors are friendly and encourage/guide you through your dance journey regardless of what level you’re at. My overall experience dancing at LLDA has been great :)

I have been dancing at the LLDA for about five years, and it is the second Chinese dance school I've attended in Richmond after moving here from China. I was able to continue my CDGES studies, build on my foundations and improve my skills tremendously due to the high standards in the studio. There are also many opportunities to learn about Chinese culture and history, as well as various styles of Chinese dance. I am now studying Grade 13 of the syllabus and have enjoyed every moment dancing here. If you're interested in learning and perfroming Chinese dance, then this academy is for you!
