What a joke this place is. The staff in urology are lazy and rude and have no care for the patients quality of life while they are here. The odd nuse in the unit are good but over all there bed side manner sucks and care to make the patient comfortable is no existent. Waiting as much as 2 hours past scheduled medication to get needed medication. And the unit isn't even busy

Tylene was very nice to us, friendly, loving, caring and everything you can imagine. All the nurses were very friendly. Thanks a lot and you guys are the best

The worst experience with Alberta Health Services. Waiting in the waiting room for 10 hrs overnight and still waiting to see a doctor. Can't believe the wait times while the nurses just sit around doing nothing. Not even coming to check on waiting patients. Something seems awfully broken with our health care system.

Amazing, caring staff. If you ever have medical needs, this is the place to come. The nurses are wonderfully responsive (so long as you are kind to them). They have a variety of talented specialists you wouldn't think a city the size of Edmonton would attract. We are lucky to have such a great facility.

They really seem overstaffed for the amount of patients that go in and out of the hospital. There's too many people bickering and talking in the main lobby that work there doing absolutely nothing (easy to see your monitors). Most of the front staff seems like when you have a question or need something, they're annoyed and rather get back to drinking coffee and talking to their coworkers. Simply put, they're rude, and should be the one's that are unlucky patients. The security officer was the only one that seemed like they actually cared about patients, which is really something when you think about it.Levels of triage aren't being properly followed, nor is the wait times. Unless you're dying, you will be waiting god knows how long since they don't follow the guidelines to a T.This is a huge waste of tax dollars just like most of Canadian Health care. Better free health care in a country in South America and all over in Europe.

Great care and attentive service from all the staff we met. I brought my father in for day surgery, reduction of the prostrate and kidney stone break up. He will stay overnight to make sure his urine is clear. He came out of surgery into the urology unit 3E3. The nurses and support staff were friendly and courteous. I can say that our experience was a good one. It’s not like you want to be in the hospital as a patient but if you were this place takes care of you. Of course this is the same place as Walter C Mackenzie hospital. Overall this is a good place to get around in. There are several places to buy food and gift shops, ATM machines.

Treated my mom horribly and were in such a rush to get her out. She broke her knee and had no walker or wheelchair or any sort of support and they wanted her out without offering to even give her any support. Thank god she had a friend who lives in town since we live in winnipeg, I don't even know how thats allowed in a hospital where they're supposed to look after you, not try to kick you out.

A recent gall bladder attack had me spend 4 days here and all I can say that everyone I met was phenomenal. The people that took me to all of my tests, the nurses who did the tests, the doctors, all the nurses in 3E3; Drew and everyone else, thank you. I know you had your hands full with other patients and despite that you were still so kind. Doctors you are amazing but know I had such great confidence in you because of the nursing staff’s ability. I knew you were good too because they were so brilliant. I can’t thank you all enough. You made a very traumatic situation so much better. I felt safe, I felt cared for, and I felt that everyone in that building had the skills the 3E3 team had so I had confidence I was in good hands. It almost makes me wish I had another gall bladder to remove..almost.

This is a specific complaint, not general. My friend has had gallbladder attacks for two years and has been waiting for surgery on disability leave for that whole time. Her surgery was cancelled twice now and today it's being delayed again indefinitely. She's been soldiering through but I'm tired of seeing her suffer just because she doesn't want to constantly clog up emergency when she has an attack. Enough is enough.
