After visiting several companies, our building decided to use GIT for the replacement of our windows and patio doors. Micheline Robert was a pleasure to work with. The installers did a great job as most of us thought there would be dust all over the place. On the contrary, things ran very smoothly and they left our apartments spotless. They also spent some time with each owner to explain how the windows worked and answer any question. Furthermore, they were always prompt in returning our calls. Thank you GIT for our new and great windows.

Just called to get a quote, sales person was rude. Asked about hybrid and aluminum and he brushed me off. I was told to get quotes from other places and then contact them for a price. I understand everyone is missing staff and there are shortages but don’t assume that because I asked about hybrid that’s what I want just to save money. When I explained to sales rep that it’s not a question about money and the number of windows to do (including 2 big bay windows), all of a sudden we was able to get me an appointment or as he said (vous m’avez convaincu).If I’m going to get quotes from other companies who take the time to give me service, I will go with them.P.S, it’s hard to take measurements of bay windows and opening from brick to brick.

After shopping around for windows, we found GIT to have the best windows, as they look great with the hidden weatherstripping, and are the best quality. Our contact started with Jean Legault, who explained everything thoroughly, advised us well, answered all our questions, and never made us feel rushed. He patiently went over every detail with us. Luigi came and took his time taking proper measurements and assessing the needs of each situation, never missing any details. And the installers did a fantastic job. We were concerned about one install, which isn’t a typical window and door. They completed it flawlessly, without a hiccup, and beautifully finished the job. Their administrative assistants are also very nice, warm, and welcoming.We have now done 2 orders with them in 2 years. We will use their products and services again, and we do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for windows and doors. They are true professionals and they know their line of work better than anyone.

We had windows and doors installed three years ago. The workmanship was shoddy. How shoddy? One window was installed upside down. Yes, you read that correctly. One sliding window doesn't close without the door being unbalanced, leaving a half inch gap at the top of the frame. Another door was left with a cracked frame. We've called multiple times over the last three years and we were told many times that someone would visit our home to correct the problems. I'll give you one guess as to the outcome of the many promises to correct their shoddy work. If you guessed that they've never fixed it in the three years since installation, you are correct. Please avoid GIT at all cost. Hopefully, they're not typical of the industry and you can find better people to deal with.

Thanks to all the team. From the advisor (Jonathan Bélanger) to the installation team, everything was done very well. We are happy with the result, the advice and service we received were very usefull, and will definitely use GIT again.

Very efficient. I had my kitchen window enlarged and replaced the main bathroom windows. They did a super job. Would definitely order my next window/s with Eco Lite. Faran is a pleasure to work with and very professional.

spoke with vincent from the mtl east end location. he gave me an appointment to measure windows and patio doors. i took a day off work to be home and then he calls me a few hours before to say he can’t come afterall and he doesn’t want to reschedule because i live too far. not sure why he didn’t recommend the ddo branch instead which is closer? but i guess this company doesn’t need a 50,000$ cheque cuz 1.5h drive away is too far apparently.

I had three windows replaced in my house by David and his team. They arrived at 7am and were finished by 10:30 am. They both worked very hard and the house was very clean when they left. They were both very polite and very knowledgeable about the product they were installing. Thank you GIT for a great experience, I would recommend GIT products and service any time.

We saw the billboards everywhere, went to the showroom and had good customer service. We thought we were making a good decision hiring GIT to replace our windows. In the end, I'm sad to report that ours was an absolutely terrible experience with this company. The odyssey started in October of 2015 and the work only recently finished. In the process of installing the new windows, the installers caused significant damage to the window frames. Around the large third floor window at the top of our staircase and around one of the kitchen windows significant chunks of drywall was ripped out in the process. The new balcony door became impossible to close after two days and I had to place a chair to close it as best as possible when it rained. It was an overall shocking situation but I figured - and was reassured - that they would take corrective action. It took months for them to do so. Numerous visits with the empathetic words - This is unacceptable. We're going to fix this". They'd take pictures and leave you feeling better. Then no one would show up on the scheduled day of work or they'd call last minute to cancel. This after you've arranged your schedule to be home for the day. Almost 10 months later
