Similkameen Wild Resort Hotel & Winery Retreat

Lovely and unique little spot! The staff were warm and extremely helpful, the grounds were absolutely gorgeous and so relaxing, the rooms were clean and comfortable. There are no restaurants on site but lots of great places to eat and drink a short drive away; plus it was very helpful having access to the large commercial style kitchen to make food to eat on site. Highly recommend walking down for a swim in the river or going for a walk to watch the birds (but bring bug spray cuz the mosquitoes are intense in the grasslands!). Would definitely come back anytime!

Like a hidden oasis. This place has such a nice relaxing feel to it. I stayed just one night but I definitely plan to come back here. I stayed in the cheaper tipi, which had a large comfortable bed with puffy cloud-like bedding and a mosquito net. I took a quick dip in the pool while I was here and lounged poolside reading a book. The surroundings are beautiful, and Roger was helpful and nice. I highly recommend staying here, absolutely wonderful!

We just spent a week here. The place was beautiful and cozy, great pool and great scenery. And our dog loved lounging around the property as well.Most of all, the staff were very accommodating to us and were eager to make our stay as amazing as possible.The staff will make you feel very welcome and they make you feel like you are amongst friends. And our dog loved them too.We will definitely be coming back.

We had a great stay! This is definitely the loveliest place to stay in the Similkameen valley. The view right from our bed was outstanding, the room was super clean and cozy with really comfortable bed. We watched the sunset from the hottub and walked by the river. Definitely a slice of paradise for people who enjoy nature and the quiet. Will absolutely go back!

Similkameen Wild Resort is a such a vibrant, warm, welcoming, beautiful & magical space. We Stayed in the King Tepee and it was a beyond lovely experience. Clean, comfy, cozy, such a unique peaceful space to unwind & Dream in. The mountains and scenery are absolutely magnificent! The river is a quick walk and must go and replenish in. It’s all very breathtaking, we highly recommend booking some relaxing time at this resort. And a huge thank you Roger for your kindness, the lovely hello and for making us feel so welcomed. We enjoyed a relaxing evening at the resort. The room as excellent with thoughtful details; including a shop local basket with unique local items you could purchase during your stay. I wish we had had more time to fully enjoy the ammenities.We will definelty stay again.

I was looking for a quiet place to relax and be away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I’m so glad I found this place. I stayed 2 nights in the dead of winter, spent a ton of time in the hot tub and wished I had more time to spend. The views of the mountains are amazing. I’ll be back, soon I hope.
