Just back from staying the weekend at this cottage.Wow, what a perfect little getaway.Everything you could need inside the cottage is there.We had lots of room on the lawn for games, and our little dog loved all the exploring.Can't wait to go back next year!Thanks Ken for a wonderful weekend.

I highly recommend Barkwick Camp if you want to relax and slow things down. The fishing is outstanding and there is hardly anybody out there. I like to dirt bike and this place has the best trails I've seen yet (1,000 km of trails in all directions).

Wow what a great place!So much to do here from the boating to the swimming, hiking, fishing and of course world renowned ATV trails. The hosts Kelly and Ken are probably the friendliest people you could meet. Thanks guys for a great week, I hope to see you again next year!

What a hidden gem Barkwick Camp turned out to be! Myself, my boyfriend and our dog booked a last-minute weekend trip here and it was an incredible little getaway. Ken and Kelly are very helpful, accommodating, friendly and kindhearted people and the cottage was beautiful! They'd clearly put much thought into the cottage's recent upgrades and it's in a perfect location. Not to mention the price is extremely reasonable! Very satisfied with our experience and will definitely be going back!!

Rented two cottages for four families.The plus:-On the lake location-Free canoes-On the cheaper side compared to other places in the areaThe bad-too noisy being right next to the highway-NO air conditioning-some beds were broken-the BBQ's were filthy ,full of residue from previous guests .The owner kind of told me that I'll have to clean, even though he did it and looked unhappy about it-the owner always looked like he didn't want us there, very cold personThe overall feeling was that we were not welcomed there.. But I didn't really care for that, we just had fun, that's why 3 starsNot returning

Never been up here and had a bad time. Been coming for years..kids love it and the fishing is great! Ken and Kelly the owners are amazing.

Spent an awesome week here Ken was so helpful made sure everything was good with us. Beautiful spot with lots so do or you can just sit back and relax! We got a canoe and there was a beautiful spot under the bridge to go. Also brought out father in law's motor boat and went tubbing and fishing was great time. Would definitely come back!

My family and I just spent a week at barkwick camp and absolutely loved it. It is beautiful there. The cottage was clean and very spacious. It's located right at the waters edge which made it so convenient for the kids and us. ....no packing up to go to the beach! The water there is so nice...clear and clean. Ken the owner was very hospitable and always there if you needed anything. The neighbors were very friendly. The fishing was GREAT! Barkwick camp is now our family's yearly cottage destination! I'd highly reallyrecommend it.See you next year Ken!

I first came here as a child with my dad about 12-15 years ago and left with such a positive impression that I came back with my friends to celebrate a low-key bachelor party weekend.We stayed in the cottage which was well furnished, had a nice new tv, and all the necessities to enjoy a long weekend with some friends.The lake is great for swimming in and we also had the opportunity to take in some canoeing.As it is today, it looks like we will be coming back again next summer.

Stayed in their “suite” back in August. It was filthy and not well maintained. My photos should give you a great idea of the “lake-view”. The hot tub was a chlorine tub, the beds were uncomfortable, everything in the kitchen needed to be cleaned before use.... Don’t go there. And it cost $150 per night...
