Found a few of the workers to be rude and frankly a bit condescending. Not all of the workers but enough to avoid going there. It's hard to find good help, but it's necessary when running a business, I guess Home Depot is too big to care. They make their money. It's just sad that customer service doesn't matter when in business nowadays.

As a contractor I asked for help pulling an order at the pro desk from the short haired lady with a nose ring and instead of asking what with or helping in any way she says it will take 24hrs depending on employees and it's no guarantee" I will avoid home Depot at all costs.... absolutely useless"

They were good on my check out, they were good when I had to return a piece of plywood right away, cause I got the wrong thickness, and then the big guy got some plywood down from a higher shelf for me and he even followed me to my truck to help load it. Everybody was friendly Awesome.

After living in the Comox Valley for several years I can honestly say this store's service has gotten worse. They truly have the stupidest and slowest staff I have ever encountered. In addition, if you are a senior be prepared to left your own heavy trees, bags of soil and everything else. In fact sometimes it is even difficult to pay. I truly wish there was a Rona here....

Excellent in store customer service at Courtenay Home Depot.Absolutely horrible customer service online when products are lost in shipping. Getting a return on both occasions of lost products has turned into a long drug out lengthy process. Home Depot online customer service tried to side with courier who forged my signature as proof of delivery. Strongly reconsider any online purchases that aren’t being delivered to store directly. 1 star out of 5 for purchasing products online.Update: Courtenay Home Depot customer service staff went above and beyond and contacted Home Depot online department. Almost immediately a refund was issued. Thanks again to the amazing staff at courtenay Home Depot.

I will NEVER buy anything from this organization. Deal with them at your own peril. I waited a month for a fridge delivery only to have a maniac delivery person who refused to take the fridge off the truck (I'm pretty sure he was high on something). And all home depot did about it was give me my money back. Now I'm waiting 3 months trying 2 get another fridge from someone else!!! Home depot could have made the delivery driver COME BACK that day!, or they could have pulled another employee, even a MANAGER, to deliver my fridge in one of their rental trucks. Instead they decided my patronage wasn't important and they have cost me a HUGE headache. Spare yourself!!! Don't deal with them!!!! Go to a local company who actually cares about keeping your business
