Really nice, large area to explore and get out in nature, easily accessible from kingston.Free parking/entry which is great, washrooms. No maps available however and the signage wasn’t great on the trail so there were a few times I didn’t know where I was. One part of the trail was particularly overgrown so I ended up turning around. It was way too dense with long grass- tic city for sure and wasn’t risking it for me and my dog. You can see it in my last photo.

Great place to go for a trek with friends, a pooch, or alone. There are several trails all connected. When the lake freezes, it's fun to walk out there, too.

Both entrances have extensive parking. There 5 trails, connected to each other, only one is for bikes and has rubble. They are all very easy going and stroller friendly They are properly signalled once you enter the park. It is very well maintained though the bathrooms are closed due to COVID. Different spots to sit with benches and tables and some spots reach the beach. The beach is mostly covered in stones but dogs seem to enjoy going into the water. The view is also great. Plenty of squirrels, ducks, chipmunks and ticks, but it's ok as long as you stay in the path.

My girlfriend and I decided to come here for a picnic and I was very disappointed. It's been awhile since I was here last and I could not believe how unkempt it was!Picnic tables literally rotting away. Grass not even respectably long, just uncut. Weeds as tall as toddlers, especially around the parking area.I do understand that it is still early in the season, but I expected it to be in much better shape, seeing as the July 1st long weekend is so close.

Lamoine Point is a great conservation area. Lots of walking trails. You can enjoy a nice walk by the water. If you are lucky, you might see the wild deer and turkeys. Don't forget to take some bird seed to feed them out of your hands. I would have left more stars if it wasn't for the fact that to get to the parking lots the road is terrible, especially the south entrance by the airport. They closed it last year to fix it. They should have saved their money it is as bad and in some places even worse than before they fixed it. If you use either entrance, please watch for the pot holes or you will need a new front end alignment.

Great trails to walk on and see nature. Some trails could use more signs. Especially trail 4 when it gets further in and you don't know where you are.

Very serene and well maintained trails that are great for walks and runs. Beginner-friendly and appears to be dog-friendly, too, since there were multiple people walking their dogs around. Cycling isn't allowed on some paths, but is allowed on others.

Lamoine Point is a conservation area located in the city of Kingston, Ontario. The area consist of 136 hectors and is a recreational hiking trail for many in the region. Many of the trails are on the shores of Lake Ontario and make for a beautiful walk. The wildlife consists of a variety of birds, chipmunks, squirrels, ducks, geese, and various other wild animals that have been somewhat domesticated.Walking the trails you'll meet people from various walks of life young and old alike. It's a fantastic place for a leisurely walk and a stroll with your dog. Along the trail, are a series of memorial benches and rest stops. There are public washrooms with handicapped accessibility and ample garbage disposals. There are a total of 11 km of trails with an accessible parking lot at each end. Cyclists are welcome on many parts of the trails. On a sidenote, I often go to the point once or twice a week to walk my dog and shoot pictures. Permits are also available for group picnics and events. You can obtain one by calling area code 613 546–4228 extension 222.In conclusion, Lamoine point is an excellent outdoor excursion and hiking trail forgetting and older alike.
