Tumu Learning

I have learned a lot since I have taken lessons with Umut. At first, French seemed like a complex language, but Umut made it easy to understand by patiently explaining and giving examples, and he always asked if I had any questions. Additionally, after each class, he always put some exercises on the learning portal for me to do on my own time, which helped me understand more! In terms of the speaking part, Umut is the best; I have told him my goal and that I would like to learn how to speak confidently. He made me very comfortable speaking French; if that word were complicated, he would make sure I said it correctly by being so patient. I am so lucky to have met Umut, and I enjoy learning French with him every week!

Umut is a wonderful French tutor. I needed to learn French for my university and started taking classes with him when I only had some very basic knowledge of French.Umut was very kind, resourceful, and flexible. He provided excellent resources, gave me helpful feedback, and came up with classes that suited my needs perfectly. Besides, he was very accommodating to my pace and schedule. As a result, I feel confident that with the base that he has helped me build I already can use French for academic purposes and can keep learning by myself using the resources he provided.Overall, I highly recommend Tumu Learning for everyone who wants to study French.

It is really fun to learn French with Umut aka Tumu Learning. He gives you a flexibility to decide what you study or he can also come up with some ideas. The courses are really interactive with videos and some listening practices. He always tries to help and being helpful. I improved my French a lot by speaking with him in our one to one courses. He help me to build the courage to speak and improve it along the way.

I had the pleasure of working with Umut for about 3 months before moving to Switzerland. My goal was to brush up on the little French I had learned many years ago and work my way up to an advanced beginner/intermediate level. Thanks to Umut’s amazing teaching skills/deep knowledge of the language, immense patience, fun homework and above all continuous support, I was able to accomplish this goal and set strong foundations with which to continue my French learning journey. Umut is a great French teacher. Very patient and breaks everything down so it is easy to follow and digest. These lessons were very encouraging and a lot of good resources were provided. Every lesson was well paced, which made learning much more enjoyable.
