Great pakoras, service and some interesting dishes to choose from, including one called rara meat which is a pleasant mixture of goat and lamb. I'd recommend this place for a good casual Indian meal.

We ordered from GJS kitchen for the first time today and was very happy with not only the service, which was awesome, the delivery was quick, our food was hot, and excellent pricing for the amount of food we received. The best part is the food, the butter chicken is amazing rich and definitely leaves you wanting more....thank you for the excellent food.

I thought my super-excellent experience at this restaurant yesterday was a lucky break, because I showed up with a friend before the main evening traffic, and got to meet Gurjyote and his whole family. We were treated like royalty, including him offering to show us some dishes we'd never heard of. But then I read these other reviews, and found that I'd just been treated to a normal" meal here. The only bad thing I can say about it all

Perfect place for take out. Presentation is really good. Gj's kitchen is the finest I'hv had.All of the dishes are spectacular.There are other factors they need to look into but the food is not it. Should search for a location where high visibility is there. Service is good and Chef himself takes care of the order. Awsome food with fresh ingredients.My friends discovered this place for me. They had the surprise bday party for me and when the Chef found that its my bday and at the last moment he made a very creative Indian dessert for me.And i am again ordering the food as i am writing this review.

A friend of mine introduced to this restaurant and told me to order 'Kathi roll' but i went ahead and order chickpea bowl and it was super delicious, just like how I am used to eating in India and the quantity is more than enough as well. Will keep on coming here as the menu is looks delicious as well

GJ's kitchen is a welcome and fresh addition to Surrey's Indian cuisine options. The dishes reflect Chef GJ's excellent knowledge of food, presentation skills and the personal touch. The interiors are modest but clean.Menu is a good combination of veg and non-veg dishes at reasonable prices. I enjoyed the veg tandoori platter, achari naan with palak paneer while my wife enjoyed the chicken dish.All the best to GJ's!!!

One of the best food i ever had in my life. Being a vegetarian there are really less food options out there. I can definitely say the best food I had in Lower mainland. Chef Gurjyote and Jasmeet are really generous and welcoming. Such a welcoming attitude, great hospitality, and the incomparable taste of food. If ever someone has to witness the true taste and flavours of North Indian food, must visit the kitchen once.

Went in to get my water refilled but was surprised to see a kitchen in the back! Food smelled amazing so ordered a rice bowl and the potato & onion bhaji. Both were delicious! Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu next time I need to refill my water. Chef and kitchen were very friendly and kind as well.
