As a long time contact lens wearer, it wasn't until I moved to Ottawa and turned my eyes over to Dr. Tripp that I finally found true eye comfort and perfect vision! He was the first to finally diagnose my somewhat rare eyelid condition, and find the lenses that worked to alleviate it. Can't recommend him, and his team, highly enough.

Called to make an appointment but when she found out my age she said that they are not taking appts until Dec for new patients. It was obvious that this Dr. is age biased and only takes millennials which is hypocritical and biased. Go somewhere else

Dr. J. Tripp is the worst doctor of anything l have ever encountered in my life. He has been reported to The College of Optometrist Ontario. Please read all reviews about him. Please beware,! Very serious personality problem.

I have been a patient of Dr.Tripp's for 28+ years with unusual problems and have been receiving exellent treatment and when I needed treatment outside his scopeof practise I was referred to a surgeon. If I have any conserns regarding my eyes I have never felt I wasn't delt with in a way that I was not satisfied with. He gies very detailed report to family physician or specialist. Dr. Tripp get the highest score from me.

Dr. Tripp is an excellent optometrist. I took my Mom there and he was patient, respectful, and genuinely interested in her vision and comfort. The front desk staff were excellent as well. I'd give them six stars if I could.Note that the Ontario government has been squeezing payments to optometrists, effectively cutting their pay for years. Like other doctors offices, covid-related increases in time needed per patient has further reduced what they can bill. They are a critical part of our healthcare system and deserve better.

Super friendly and professional staff. I would never trust my vision to anyone else. Dr. Tripp and his team members are very thorough and knowledgeable. They are on top of protocols for COVID-19 safety measures in the clinic and felt very safe during my appointment. I am very fortunate to be a patient at Dr. Tripp’s clinic. Huge thanks to everyone :)

Even one star is way too high rating for Dr. Tripp. He has a personality that more suitable for a prison guard maybe. He does not possess any qualities to be any kind of healthcare professional! No bedside manners, and , quite frankly, not even basic social skills. One should avoid this so- called doctor!I feel sorry for the people working with him.I know -- I am never going back.
