A great experience from start to finish! This place is what pet owners truly hope to find. Caring vet, great reception, reasonably priced. Just a routine check up and vaccinations, yet I could tell the wellbeing of my critters is something I won't ever need to worry about. Thanks to Dr. Ken and Marlene for the fantastic first visit ever!!

I was told by several vets that my small dog had a torn Acl requiring a $4000 surgery. The dr found problem in my dogs back and told me he didn't believe the limp to be Acl tear. He did acupuncture and laser in 3 appointments along with prescribing Chinese herbs. 3 months later Monkey rarely limps and is back to 2 walks a day. Very grateful!

Wonderful humans work here and really care about the holistic wellbeing of our furry family members. I will gladly continue to make the trip here for my senior pups for chiropractic, acupuncture, and laser treatments.

Dr. Ken was a life saver for my dog! When I brought Mea to see him, she was so sick from an unknown source, that another vet told me she wouldn't survive to her 10th birthday (she was only 9 yrs old). Dr. Ken's holistic approach and treatments kept her with me until she passed at 11 yrs + 3 months and I am SO grateful for Dr. Ken with all of his compassion and understanding, when he helped her over the rainbow bridge. If I ever have another dog, Dr. Ken will be my first vet!

Dr. Ken Vanderwekken provides excellent care through his multi-faceted veterinary approaches. He has cared for our dog for many years, and has truly made a difference. Dr. Ken’s wife Marlene is a friendly clinic manager/receptionist that really makes us feel like family when we call or visit the clinic. Sadly our dog reached the end, and Dr. Ken was there for us, providing a compassionate farewell to our canine family member. I can’t say enough to how much we appreciate Dr. Ken and his wife Marlene!

Im simply in awe . I took a horse there that was in a lot of pain and stress , and without drugs , I came home with a relaxed , smooth moving horse that a week later , by following advice, is even better .The no rush " friendly

I moved here from Ontario a couple years ago and left behind a great vet. I was worried to find someone with horror stories you hear and earlier previous experiences. Ken and the ladies there are incredible. They get me in when I need them (I have a senior dog and they are so understanding) Ken is so honest and to the point. I have complete trust and confidence in my pets well being with him. Now as for his actual services, AMAZING…he can fix my little man’s back flare ups right away, he’s so personable and sweet and you know this man is there for the right reasons. He does not price gauge at all (I mean it, it’s almost jaw dropping how he doesn’t take advantage when all you know is others that do) I’m so thankful I found him. Thank you for always helping us when we need you.

If your looking for a vet that you can trust will prioritize your pets best interest, look no further. Especially for senior animals, no vet in the area compares to Ken. I have been and met them all. And Ken has seen it all! He's very experienced, and offers therapies that other vets don't. Also a bonus, you get to see the same guy each time you go! So you only have to explain your pets issues one time!

We go to Dr. Ken for chiro and acupuncture for our active girl. My girl is very healthy so haven't needed anything medical but so glad to have a vet in Red Deer area that practices holistic medicine and is pro raw/homemade food.

Dr. Ken has been so helpful. He is knowledgeable, practical and alway has time to educate and offer sound advice. We are happy to make the drive to have our dogs cared for by him.
