Port Moody Busy Bee Drycleaners

Just moved into the area and this is going to be our new dry cleaner. They were quick to respond and very friendly when I talked to them on the phone. Prices were good and they finished my cleaning when they said they would. Plus they have a great system that texts you when your stuff is ready.

Had been going here from before the current owners purchased this location.Staff are friendly and no issues with service. The average review is because I got really cheesed they added on both a considerable Fuel Surcharge and an Environmental fee (to clean my clothes on-site) plus auto prompt a tip at payment. While I recognize these are costs of the business, they should be added into their base price.I think this pricing practice is predatory, misleading and I am not aware of any other local dry cleaner who ads these fees (and I’ve checked).I expressed this concern with the owner who didn’t really seem to sympathize. And this is why I have not been back since.

I was given this coat as a thank you for some work I did in the Ukraine this summer. It’s a vintage piece, a Russian Major General in charge of a tank group. It had likely not been cleaned in a very long time and was filthy. After a good smudging I took it to Port Moody Busy Bee Drycleaners to see if they could do anything with it… they did a phenomenal job, it looks new. I appreciated the care and attention they gave it… I dealt with two different staff in dropping it off and picking it up, both were extremely competent, respectful, knowledgeable and kind. Thank you!!

I brought quite a lot of items and they were accomodating because they were. They are friendly; however, they damaged some of my items and until now its impossible to fix. Some of my sweaters are shrunked and one of my Loro Piana cashfur jacket was too moistened. While this happened awhile ago, I still cant let it go and no matter who I bring my jacket to no one can fix it 100%. Its very upsetting but a lesson learn that I shouldn’t bring expensive items here. i give one star because the one star was for the friendliness of front desk.

I was quoted one rate upon drop off, and then when I went to pick up my item it was a different price. More than double as much! When I asked why, the lady simply said that it was incorrectly quoted and that was that. That was unprofessional and I can assure you that I will not return to this place.

First time having one of my suits dry cleaned at Busy Bee and it was an amazing experience! Maria was super fun and energetic, she gave me a detailed description of the process and made sure I took off with all my questions answered. I was quoted a two day turnaround but then I got a text message the following day telling me it was ready for pick up. I called to confirm and by the time I had gotten there, Elijah had everything ready for me at the front to make for a quick and easy stop. Very warm, welcoming staff that deserve an A+ for making sure their clients are served at the highest level, not to mention a very great job on the dry cleaning! Will be seeing me more often, thank you Busy Bee Team!

My daughter brought her grad dress in to be cleaned. She had bought it off a friend's sister that wore it 2 years before because she loved it so much. Brought it here to be drycleaned and they did horrible job. Deodorant white mark did not come out and THEY PULLED A STITCH. I told my daughter we should bring it back and complain but apparently whoever was at desk was so annoying with a high pitched voice and exaggerated manner that my daughter said she rather wear sweats to grad than go backand listen to that again. Stay away unless you want ur item returned dirty and damaged. I should have read all the reviews. Thankfully we took the dress somewhere else a couple days ago and they did magic!! AND it didnt cost near the $100 that Busy Bee charged..apparently because they had to PRESS the dress??!! Just save your money amd sanity and dont go here.

I don’t use dry cleaning services too often so I wasn’t aware of the typical wait times required. I needed a suit dry cleaned for a wedding and they went out of their way to make sure it was ready on time. Great customer service and the suit looked awesome!

Just got my bill with mandatory charge called Servive charge 15% without any explanation , that is unfair for the customer if this is how you guys run the business!
