After living here in 2004 and having my babygirl . Im so glad i had the emotional support i had , through staff and the girls living there . Great support system for young women. They actually want you to have a happy ending. Im happy to say my daughter just turned 19! Graduated highschool, working ,and is off to college in the fall . Xo

One of the few places in Greater Toronto Area, where young mothers and expecting mothers can go to continue their secondary school education. They also offer a temporary place to stay or refer clients to other organizations that may help them find residence. Speaking from experience, I found this place extremely helpful at the time when I was in need of help. Services here are not advertised, but seems like a referral system. I was referred to their services through a school counsellor, that helped fast track my admission. My overall experience with this organization was excellent.

Clients that are teen mothers are constantly being threatened by child protective services and mothers are not able to make their own decisions for their own children.

Needs more funding to update interiors and make more private for the young mothers. Maybe seperate bach apartments. Private kitchen etc.

1977 and I’m still mentally hurt from my experience at Rosalie Hall.We were mentally abused to feel we had no right to be pregnant. I was told I would not be a good mother and I should be ashamed to be pregnant and I should give my baby away to a family that would love it. I already loved my baby who I knew was a boy. Every night when I went to bed I was afraid. I once woke up to a girl going through my closet. When I reported itI was brushed off.

I was 16 years old & pregnant in 1967. My son was taken from me days after his birth. I had no support from anyone. They call it a forced adoption now. I call it the most brutal heartache of my life. I never got over it.

The staff are absolutely amazing and kind. They are all such caring individuals and they make you feel like you are in a safe, comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommended.
