Ye Olde Squire
Had a lovely evening out with friends tonight at Ye Olde Squire. Our first time there. I had the Meatloaf Wellington, my wife had Fish n Greek Salad, our friends, Fish n Chips and Shepherd's Pie. We all enjoyed our meals. Nice atmosphere, we could hear each other talk without raising our voices. Our server was great. We will ne back.

Great food, good portions and nicely plated! Ordered Bangers and Mash, Ruben sandwich and Guiness meatloaf. Everyone enjoyed there meal. Staff were welcoming and friendly throughout experience. Will definitely be returning again.

This is a great pub - my wife and I take our baby there and get the won ton nachos. They have a great tap selection, and the wings and chicken tenders are very good (and I have been to a lot of places). Will continue to go back.

First time at this restaurant which was recommended by a friend that wanted to meet for lunch with another friend and myself. They both ordered the haddock and chips and I went for the liver, bacon and onions with smashed potato’s. Very generous portions. I had a sample of the breaded fish that was thick and moist but not greasy. The liver was moist and mild, while the bacon was thick and crispy and onions nicely fried. Just the way I would cook it. Very good choices all around. The menu has so many interesting choices that you could go there for weeks before repeating yourself. The server was attentive and engaging and allowed us time to talk for a bit and then order. Great Pub ambience as well.

We had a great meal here. The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. They have glass dividing all the tables and booths and they thoroughly cleaned the tables and chairs after people left. We had fish and chips, they were very yummy. Not to greasy with a great portion size. I will definitely return.

Had dinner with friends and the restaurant was busy.Service was pretty good.The waitress was ok, but not very friendly, maybe because they were busy.Food and drinks came in good timing.The food orders were all correct.The fried steak was tough and over breaded. Taste was ok.All other meals order were great, as per the individuals.We would go back and recommend this place.

Started working around the corner from here about 3 months ago and have visited a handful of times already. In my line of work I entertain a lot of clients and eat at a lot of restaurants. I am also a local guide on google to share my experiences with others to better their experience. That should give you an idea that I’ve been around the block. I must say this place is impressive! I’ll start with the staff, both guys working here are very good at their job, have excellent multitasking skills and pay attention to detail. The main bartender/server is a rockstar, he’s on the ball every time I come and the young guy he has been training is a fast learner and shows excellent potential. It’s very refreshing to see guys hustle as hard as they do and yet still remain cool, calm, collected and most of all friendly. The food, everything I have eaten here has been so good! From the salads to the new Asiago chicken sandwich and of course the wings with the delicious Parm fries! A little bit of a heads up to the manager, every onion ring or fry order should come with that amazing chipotle sauce you serve with just the onion rings. It’s soooo good! In closing I would just like to thank the 2 gentlemen who work here for making my lunch a pleasure. I will continue to support this establishment moving forward and be very happy doing it! Great job Ye Olde Squire and staff! Cheers guys, see you soon.
