Honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had since COVID! And that’s saying a lot. The service was impeccable! The food was delicious and with an added bonus of being very fairly priced! The drinks were fresh and tasty and I would definitely come back again very soon! A must try

My wife and I wanted to try something special for our anniversary lunch, and heard high praise for Lemeac.The place was busy, quite loud, much like a bar or pub. The hostess, server and staff were friendly and helpful. Our water was always topped up, and even the delay or long wait for food was updated with humble apology (though not necessary). It was a kind gesture.She ordered the risotto and I the duck leg. The pairings of flavours were quite complementary, unexpected, but generally worked. The mushrooms and seasoning in the risotto were good, and you could tell they don't skimp on quality ingredients. But my wife said she could make something similar. Perhaps that's just my wife being amazing. My duck, the skin was perfect, with crisp and juicy fatty bits. The meat itself was a bit dry for my liking. The salad was refreshing.Overall, nothing to complain about. Satisfactory, but perhaps not worth the $100+ price tag.

Keep in mind that I try to stay positive when reviewing and that I’m reviewing from the perspective of the price point. I’ll start off by saying our service was very good and two was the beef tartare as well as the rack of lamb.Having experienced a wonderful French bistro at the same price point back home in Toronto, I had high expectations and maybe it was unfair to assume it would be even better in Montreal.The food was cold when it arrived, the steak was nothing to write home about, the drinks were very basic (nothing out of this world), and after making a special request for our 20th anniversary dinner (all I asked for was a candle to be placed on our dessert once we ordered) and not having it happen while our neighbouring table had exactly that for a birthday, I was thoroughly disappointed.I give it a 3 star because that’s what the food deserves, if I factor in everything else that drops to a 1 or 2.

Foods are very delicious. If you like typical French cuisine, this is definitely for you. There menu is very classic, each of there plates are very elaborated.One thing that I have to say is there cocktails menu could be more elaborate. I was a little bit disappointed of there cocktails. Otherwise, everything is 9/10.

Went for Sunday’s brunch but end up ordering from the lunch menu that was also available. The food in this place is of a superior quality, presentation and great experience overall. I had the blood pudding as an appetizer, the braised veal cheeks style bourguignon and French toast desert “Pain Perdu” - amazing! The service is impeccable, everyone is very polite and knowledgeable. We received some good suggestions as well. Highly recommended this place.

A wonderful evening! I had the grilled portobello which was fine and a little lower in calories than I was expecting. Luckily the Mussels are a significant portion, so I was able to fill up. The dessert was very good (I didn't order but the bill read pudding au caram) but also very sweet. Everything was very well executed, and the menu was very well thought out - something for everyone.

The service and quality of food was excellent.The links Benedictine was delicious and their signature beignets are light and fluffy, accompanied with the marmelades are to die for.The chai latte was delicious, and there coffee as well.

A better experience than our first time. These raviolis were just so good, definitely ordering again. The Spanish rosé wine is a disappointment, almost a red in color, but that’s on us. Two waiters served us successively. Credits for having electricity and being open, while all of Laurier was off and closed. I would say it’s not an ideal young adult outing, however perfect for parents company and family.

We only went for the desserts and I could easily say that it’s one of the best places to get dessert. The French toast (pain perdy) is just simply out of this world with it’s decadent flavour with the amazing ice cream. I swear there is nothing quite like it and seems to come from michelin star restaurant. The crème brûlée was good and profiterole as well. The moelleux has a great combination of flavour with it’s popcorn flavour. 10/10 would recommend going just for the french toast!

Really fantastic ambience and food. Service was only ok. Highly recommend the Scandinavian plate, very enjoyable. Absolutely loved the berry jam and I wish they sold it to bring home.
