Hosted by birthday dinner of 20 guests and it was absolutely perfect; highlight was our server, Devon, who even put on a western playlist to match our cowboy theme. In addition to Devon's truly impeccable service, the food and wine were delicious and the atmosphere was the perfect mix of relaxed/rustic yet elevated & chic. Could not recommend more! We love you, Devon!

i love paradise (esp their bloor location) the vibes are really nice, you can almost always get a table, the wines are tasty, the service is excellent, my only complaint is their food at the geary location…maybe it was an off day but it was BAD! we had the bone marrow (not properly cooked) and the open faced sandwich was dry. the only thing keeping them back is their chef. shut up and my money otherwise!

Great patio for a cute night out! They should be known as a chicken restaurant because their chicken is FIRE! plus the war green salad was also delicious. The melon wasn’t really my thing but it was worth the try. Will 100% be back to try more of the menu!

Go for the drinks, but skip the food. Everything was fine up until I ordered the house made chorizo" for $14. I expected to get a whole sausage but instead I got three tiny sausages the size of my pinky finger surrounded by even more peppers (60-70% of it was peppers) in what seemed like a thinly veiled attempt to get me to pay for the illusion of sophistication. If you want value on food go across the street for a $5 pizza slice from North of Brooklyn."

I recently had a birthday party here and I did a wine tasting with friends. We were a fairly big group (7 of us including me) and they accommodated us right away (granted I booked in advance). We had 11 wines for only 60? Plus snacks???? That's a total steal. Our sommelier, Vidal, was super informative and enthusiastic about guiding us through the wine tasting. Not to mention how ridiculously patient he was with all our questions cause much as we love wine there's also SO much we don't know. They picked out a large variety of AMAZING wines and we went at a nice pace to be able to explore all the wines comfortably. I've never tried natural/organic wines and so this was a new experience for me and I was not disappointed. I can guarantee you'd be able to find at least 3 wines you would seriously consider taking home bottles of. But if 11 wines is too much they also offer half the selection (5-6 wines?).The food was also very comforting. We had the chicken rotisserie and it reminded me of Swiss Chalet chicken (and I believe that's the recipe they were going for but BETTER). The staff was good about telling us the portion size before hand, making it easier for us to know what dishes to share.The ambiance was also very nostalgic of older Toronto/Dufferin. The building for their winery kept most of the structure and design of the previous owner (Portugeuse Deli) with their own personal touches. It's a very intimate vibe but it's almost always packed so be sure to book in advance for larger groups or expect a bit of a wait.It's definitely hard to find inclusive queer spaces but if you want to have a nice, fun time trying fancy wines without fear or judgement, definitely check out Paradise Grapevine. I've been to both locations and neither have disappointed. The only downside is how busy it can get (cause it's so popular) but it's definitely worth the wait and definitely worth the hype.

Great addition to Geary! Stopped by Sunday late afternoon for a quick bite and a drink. Ordered the coulotte steak and tomato salad (the cantaloupe was surprisingly a great addition). For dinner, recommended order for two is 5~ dishes. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu and more of their house made items!

This is perfect addition to Geary.The wine and ambiance was great, and the food was so good!Had the steak with chimichurri, smashed potatoes, and charred greens with miso, and all dishes were just perfect.

Having frequented the original paradise grapevine on bloor I knew I needed to try their new location on Geary & let me say it will definitely be a Geary go to for me! My friends and I went on a Monday and had a lovely evening. The service was friendly, efficient and laid back. We shared a bottle of their orange wine which they make on site. It was so delicious, perfect for summer sipping, I needed to buy a bottle afterwards to bring home. The food was also very tasty. We ordered family style. We started with the crab dip which was a great appetizer choice. The rotisserie chicken was super juicy. The polenta was full of flavour and paired perfectly with the chicken, and the warm salad was also a must try. I’ll definitely be back for more!
