Had a nightmare experience with this company.Had an automatic door opener installed.Well......the door is still not automated. Still need to use key.I was charged $3600.00 . Once installers came , the company asked for another $1100 to complete jobWould never recommend this company.Very poor customer service

I was referred here by my physio doctor. I am glad I made the call here. Everyone was super friendly. My service rep Lori have been amazing. She as help me with everything. Did all my measurements for my wheelchair. My wheelchair has a smart drive power assist which is new and is controlled by a smartwatch. My wheelchair did take a little longer but Lori kept me up to date on when it will arrive. When I got my wheelchair I was super happy and excited. I have my freedom back. I am so grateful for her help. As well as everyone else who help me get my wheelchair for me. I thank you all. I will definitely recommend the place for all you medical needs :)Thank you all.Ruslana Sheremeta

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!! I rented essential post-surgery equipment from JAKE several weeks before my knee surgery. It was to be delivered on the last business day prior to my surgery. Mid-morning of that day, I had heard nothing about time of delivery, so I called them. No one knew about my order especially the fellow who dealt with deliveries. Ten phone calls later, Jake finally arranged for delivery. One does not need this kind of poor service on the eve of a stressful surgery. Save yourself a lot of hassle and DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!There must be better places.......

I had reached out to the manufacturer as well as several other dealers, but it was the people at HME who understood the importance of my friend's reliance on his mobility chair. They really stepped up quickly, kindly, and generously. Nice one!

I took my elderly mom to HME. My parents live independently in a condo close in N York. HME has all the right equipment but the installation service they provided was not very good. We bought several items from them including walkers for my parents, some bathroom fixtures, anti slip mat etc. We also paid for installation. We were promised an installation date and the actual installation was done a week later. Which is fine - as HME corresponded with me re the delay via email.However when the installation guy showed up - it was obvious that one of the bathroom fixtures needed extra work to put it up in the bathroom tub. The guy installed everything else other then that fixture and told my elderly parents (91 and 96) that they needed to fix this on thier own.I dont live with my parents and visit them every 5 weeks (from Seattle). I contacted HME telling them of this issue and that it is not possible for my parents to bring this item back to them and that when i visit next time - in about 3 weeks from today, ill bring it back to them. (Its in its original packaging and unopened). HME basically told me - they will not take it back and that it was an easy install and I would have to do it on my own.We paid for installation - the installer who came seemed to think it was a difficult install. If it is an easy install why didnt he install it then? We paid for installation already.I have not heard back from HME since this bit of conversation vis email with them.Its a part thats perhaps worth $79 or thereabouts. We have already bought 2 x walkers (approx $1000) + approx $400 of other items from HME. + we paid for installation. We did not pay for a guy to come to our place to tell us - we have to install this on our own. If its a difficult install then HME should take this item back and give us something easy to install.

We gave business to Home medical equipment yesterday regards to a mobility stair chair installation for my grandfather. Installation went okay and the job was finished on time but we are upset because of the fact that one of the personnel working didn’t remove his shoes outside during the installation despite being told very clearly, he kept on working with his shoes inside. It looks disrespectful, unprofessional and unmannerly when you can’t follow a simple thing despite being told clearly. Also every time the workers went outside and came inside they did not close the door fully, so as a result we had to go and close door ourselves on all the 6 times they went outside and came inside. When you’re coming back inside it’s basic courtesy and common sense to close the door properly and not leave it half open !!!!

No issue with the wheelchair my father received. Where they lose points is the customer service I received from Jennifer in their Burlington office. I’d been waiting several months for an invoice. I called and emailed, with no response. Finally on Apr22/22, I received an email with a form and invoice attached. As I was out of town, I replied that it was difficult to complete the form on my mobile device, but I would do so prior to May 13, when I had access to a full screen computer.Jennifer replied that she had taken over files from a previous co-worker and her job was to clean things up and that payment was outstanding since Nov.She also stated they would take back my father’s wheelchair if payment was not received! I’d had no correspondence ever until Apr22/22, and had been waiting on an invoice (which was also dated Apr22/22, not Nov/21). Since when is payment demanded with a threat to take my Dads wheelchair back within 30 days of an invoice date?While they may have had staffing issues with billing, this was a rude way to treat me. Not impressed HME!
