Thunderbird Stadium
The show we all went to was amazing, the artist was magic.However the security asking to prove a disability and for documentation was extremely disappointing, also to then being told by the wife of a wheelchair user that I believe one of the upper security guys said to her that people are faking to get better seats (we all had front stage so no) and then asking her why even get those tickets if we’re disabled was straight up discrimination

Went for a concert the sound was absolutely terrible. Mic squeaks, could barely hear the performer speak. I'm sure it's great for sports but for concerts the sound has to improve.

Thunderbird stadium is a midsized artificial turf open air stadium that has been unchanged since I was first there in the early 1990. As a matter of fact, the paint is the original and has just been painted over a dozen times.The bathrooms are original from 1970s in every aspect and are well maintained. It holds about 3 to 4 thousand people, so I am surprised it has never been upgraded to add more seats.It is probably the greatest place to watch live events since it is very open, so you do not get reverb, and it can not host more than 10000 people.Parking can sometimes be tough, and UBC has limited amenities. So bring food.

There are bathrooms in the back, near the stands. Its heated heavily. You might think “ugh gotta go before my game in a cold stall”. No, my friend. The stall is choice, and often empty. The field is great as well.

What a great venue to participate in anything for. The cleanest, most most well-kept facility in Vancouver.
