Let me just start by saying that my first experience here two years ago was a 5/5 - all their pasta dishes were freshly made and tasted divine. Decided to introduce Sunterra to a friend this week and I'm sad to say that it was a total letdown.Our server was confused and seemed inexperienced - she didn't know anything about what was available for the pasta and when bringing us our food, she just haphazardly left our cutlery directly on the dirty table outside (no tissue, plate, nothing!) and awkwardly ran away. After 15 mins of waiting, I was told the pesto cream sauce I ordered wasn't even available and was offered a tomato based alternative which I wasn't happy about since they could have told us before we paid but I trusted it to be good anyway.I couldn't be more wrong.Not only were both pomodoro and bolognese sauces bland, but my (small shell?) pasta was so tough and hard to chew that it made the food completely unenjoyable, a tough feat to achieve for pasta. I hadn't even been informed that this was the type of pasta they'd be using as I'd requested penne for my previous choice. The spaghetti was also cold/room temp which felt like it had been sitting out for a while.The side bread and chocolate cheesecake I got was pretty decent but still didn’t make up for the overall awful experience. Not going to be back unfortunately, especially after hearing about their unsanitary food safety at another location.

Was so excited when Sunterra opened up within a stones throw from my house; when they opened, it did not disappoint. Food was fresh, good and staff was great. Unfortunately, it has gone steadily downhill in the last year. Staff is hit and miss and the food is mediocre at best. I stopped tonight to pick up shrimp salad rolls - they had todays date on them, however they were very poorly made and something tasted off to me…I’m done

Good the first times around, but the 3rd or so time my pasta was like soup. Staff is *extremely* loud and obnoxious. Staff basically own the place. I didn’t feel welcomed. For a nice eat here & there, why not.

This is a delightful little grocery store and caffè! Central location, close to the major intersection of Kensington Road and Crowchild Trail, everything from ready-to-eat meals to fresh produce to juice to smoothies to frozen goods to everything else they can fit into the little place, as you can see in my photos. Super friendly staff, rustic picnic tables to chill out and dine at if you have the time!

They were giving samples of delicious pork sliders and natural juices. That idea is great, in a sunny beautiful day. I bought a delicious meat lunch, was looking for sweetes and I got great service from the manager.

A busy little market and coffee spot. Then you go inside and find a vast array of curated food ingredients and of course mains. I enjoyed a delicious fresh juice, and picked up excellent garlic and pea shoots. Seems to be a go-to venue for athletic types on the river path. Very nice staff and customer care. Love it! See you soon!

I usually go to the market for breakfast and have my eggs. Went in today at 6:45 PM and asked to place an order for my usual eggs. The lady at the cashier seemed confused when I asked for a order of eggs, which is on their menu. After a few minutes of me explaining to her that the eggs are on her menu, she realize what I wanted. At that point she started to tell me that they are closing in 15 minutes and asked me if I wanted it to go. I told her that I would promise her I would eat it fast and leave within the 15 minutes. She was very reluctant to put the order through even though I mentioned that I would leave in time, but started the process of how I wanted my eggs . At that point, she started telling me that they don’t have various items that go with the eggs no more. I can see she just didn’t want me there ordering at that hour so I told her not to worry about it and left. She didn’t even apologize or anything .Disappointed.

We have been to this location 5 times now and every time we had a disappointing experience due to poor food quality and right down awful customer service. People are rude, not remembering what's on their menu, getting our orders wrong and the list goes on. The only upside is the price of the food but I guess you get what you pay for. I really wanted to give this location a chance and we did, we went 5 times and each time we had a bad experience. Definitely worth going somewhere else...

The ready to go meals here are incredible!! Home cooked feel but better! And lots of healthy options! I could eat here everyday!Note: the pictures do not do justice! There’s way more food than this, and it’s always a different variety!

Casual and pleasant. I have done the dining in as well as takeout. Staff provide quick and courteous service. Basic facilities that are small but clean and well laid out. You can shop for staples like wholegrain bread, milk, and dry goods as well as a variety of prepared foods, including vegetarian. Small patio with view to old neighbourhood road and buildings, adjacent to major roadways but sufficiently shielded from heavy traffic. Shared parking lot where we always found a space. Easily accessed from different directions.
