Jeddore Lodge & Cabins

I went for brunch with friends and I did not stay overnight. The coffee was excellent. I ordered the special “home made waffle” which wasn’t cooked through and not great, so a little disappointing. Great hospitality by the new hosts Marie and Henri.

The view was great, the lodge was decent size, the beds were nice aswell.However, the important lock for the bathroom was not aligned properly with the weird folding door no matter how hard we try, it does not work and the door was of poor quality like an old cabinet folding door.. the toilet flush broke on first use by just flushing urine and nothing else; we did not even flush toilet paper in it ever as there was a sign that says so.. then we had to fix it ourselves.. and then it worked fine after we go to the trouble fixing it.. this is 200+dollars a night plus tax.. so maybe we should've charge them instead.. They were adamant that the pool was the right pH.. but pH does not matter if it was dirty.. it was freaking green, cloudy and/or turbid.. they would not clean it for us when we spent more than thousand of dollars all in all.. you also have to sign a waiver for borrowing the little boats.. when otherrenters just used it without signing a waiver at all... overall a decent experience but one I do not recommend for the price.. we felt it was overpriced for 200+ dollars a night plus tax.. to a broken lock, broken toilet, no decent internet and data reception and a dirty pool.. it was hard to negociate.. despite spending Thousands of dollars total.. it such a shame.. I may be Canadian but I have to be honest and give my constructive criticism.. fix the locks, fix the toilets, maybe put decent internet, do not be stingy with the little boats and clean the dang pool.. the ocean was rocky and cold so I do not expect anyone to swim there.. I wish you guys the best and I hope the next people to stay have a better experience that us..

This review is for accommodations only as we didn’t eat the restaurant.+ very friendly staff, prompt communication- issues with cleanliness, moldy shower curtain, dirty toilet (to be fair, an outside part of it)- very noisy, no sound insulation and it’s right next to the road so didn’t make for a good sleep- not well equipped, TV wires hanging out, the couch has lost it’s structural anything, I felt like I fell into it when I sat down- highly priced compared to other stays we had in NS

Our whole crew of 15 people stayed here while we were working in the area and had an amazing stay! Marie and Henry are so lovely and pleasant to deal with, and accommodated everything we needed during our stay. Working out here was a bit of a logistical challenge, and we seriously could not have done it without them. They were also able to provide breakfast and dinner for not only us, but 14 additional crew members who were staying elsewhere Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend staying here.

Was a great spot to get away. Views were amazing, room was cozy and Marie was super accommodating. Price was a bit high for off season, but will definitely be back. Already planning to come back for a weekend this summer. All in all Jeddore Lodge was exactly what we needed and only about 5 minutes from the family we were here to visit. Thank you Marie and I'll see you this summer!!

We just held our annual church summer camp here. The hosts Marie, Henry and Sarah are very accommodating and would go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. They are very welcoming, thoughtful and generous. The cabins are old but repairs are being done to maintain them and to make sure their guests have the most comfortable stay. They have all sorts of entertainment for the whole family like swimming pool, newly built playground and water activities like paddle boating, and canoeing. Their place is one of the most stunning views I’ve seen in Nova Scotia! I can’t wait to see it in fall! We enjoyed are stay here and would highly recommend this place!
