Joroma Construction

Our closing date was April 2020. We are still waiting on issues that were noticed on pre move inspection. We were not overly happy with build quality as many mistakes and obvious lack of care. Communication is the worst I have ever seen with a company. Emails go unanswered and completely ignored. I believe this company had a moment in time where they strived to do better however this was so long ago. If given the choice and knowledge that we have now we would not have purchased with this builder. As an aside there are positive reviews in here that have been posted by employees of this company and people who didn't even have a home built by this company.

They built my new home and redesigned the model to my taste, they made sure that everything was to the satisfaction. I’m really happy with my home.

I wouldn't recommend Joroma construction at all. My family and I had a very bad experience buying a home from them. They didn't honor anything and intended to change the price and never started the construction of the house. After 6 months the contract was signed our lawyer best advice was to cancell the contract and get our money back because the builder wasn't proffesional,honest and someone to trust our home constructionIf you have the chance to see this post I strongly recommend to avoid doing business with this builder based on my own terrible experience

We just bought our home with Joroma in Cassleman. We are extremely impressed by their service. From start to finish, the team was there to help us and the owner was incredible. Many folks on our street are very happy customers. I would recommend to my friends and family to build with them. Beautiful finishings, high quality build, and delivered ON TIME!! BRAVO! All of our friends and family are impressed by our home. Thank you Patrick and the entire Joroma team for the support and service. We couldn't be happier to move in to our dream home.

I was enquiring about their development did not actually buy from them because of personal reasons. My co-worker recommended them. She is happy with them

Moved in June 2021, here is what I have to say of the current situation.Pros:1. Very nice staff to talk too, very approachable when available.2. Very accomodating prior to closing, just make sure everything you agree upon is documented within contract.3. Keeps his promises.Cons:1. Asked for more money after contract was signed.2. Delayed in closing.3. Poor service response time after closing.4. Constant hassel trying to get answers.5. Alot of work seems rushed, lack of attention to detail.6. COVID is a blanket excuse to everything.7. Needs more staff to adresse service calls.Overall:I like the development and the people who live within it. I am somewhat satisfied with the house, can't wait till it is fully done and move on with the next chapter of my life. If I would of known this prior to moving, not sure I would of chose this builder. Alot of the reviews on here are from when they started within the project or are from builders employees, reviews not reflective of the current situation. I believe the intentions are good, they have simply been taken by surprise with the spike in demand and have not adopted their way of doing business to adjust the workload.I would suggest any serious buyers to walk in the neighborhood to stop and ask home owners of their experience to gain a better understanding of what they are getting into. Make sure to stop at the appropriate homes as there are two builders in the neighborhood.There are two groups which have been created on Facebook, one of them is limited too feedback as any criticism against the builder is removed or denied for some unknown reason. Make sure to join the SPEAK FREELY group to gain a realistic picture.Hope this helps, best of luck shopping.Update - July 2022 - Still waiting for them to fix issues on my house. Going on round #3 of Tarion with this company. Completely ridiculous service!! Dropped it down to one star. Don't waste your time and money.

I would echo the complaint below about communication: emails go unanswered and are completely ignored. You will never hear back from them even if you're interested in buying a house and ready to sign the agreement. You'll need to please the team and show you deserve to buy from them.

Great quality!You can go look around and you will not find the quality, craftsmanship and beauty in other builders. I have lived in many houses from houses from mainstream builders, and this is the best work I have seen.I don't know who these people are who are writing negative stuff. Clearly they haven't bought homes from Joroma!

I purchased a home last year with a delivery to take place in 2021.The delivery date came and went and they hadn't even put a shovel in the ground. They're still building the more expensive homes but they told me they can't build mine because of the pandemic. Ridiculous really.Don't be fooled by the 5 star reviews, at least one of them is an employee.
