Typical Canadian Tire, the staff is great and patient with me speaking English. Good selection of seasonal, house wares, and sporting equipment. Excellent selection of clearance items if you show up on the right day.

Complete rip off. Went in for a tire change, got called on phone and was told that brakes needed to be changed. Classic pushover scam. Said yes and then they tell me it's $1200 to put the tires on the rim (tires already purchased) and to change the four brakes.. $1200. Think about it, my car is only a 2016 kia rio, not some expensive luxury car.

Booked my daughters car here for her for a service. Told her she needed signal light bulbs and were going to charge her $50 to change them. They weren’t burnt out when we checked them. She had bought colored valve covers for her tires, those were taken off and not returned to her. Destroyed one of her lug nuts and replaced it with one that doesn’t match the rest. Clearly tried to take advantage of a young woman with her first car and hope she wouldn’t notice.

I bought one Motomaser tire as one of my summer tires has a bubble. The tire burst after 1 day while I was driving on the highway.Unfortunately, Canadian tire could not replace it nor reimburse me because they said the tire was not installed by them (which is necessary to give warranty).I was not aware of this warranty condition as the seller never highlighted that to me when I bought the tire. When I called their helpline told me this warranty term is documented on their website....so be careful when you buy tires only.

Was looking for motorcycle oil due to an emergency and had a hard time, but finally, the representative managed to help me find something similar to what I needed when I went back to him because I couldn't find it!At first he told me where to go without coming with me... but then even him found it hard to find the product he referred it to me!

This is my go to store. It is always well supplied and store employees at times will go out of their way to help you find something. The only thing I have a problem with is they have a tendency to block certain aisles with merchandise on skids. As a senior with a walking problem, I find this a nuisance as I may have to walk an extra 2 aisles around to get where I want to go. But as I said this is my go to store, and I very very seldom come out empty handed. Also find the stores website is very accurate for inventory, this really helps to know the item you want is in stock so you dont waise your time and gas for nothing.

Had an appointment at 4 to change my tires. They told me it would take 1h. At 5h30, they told me it was done. I pay, walk out, and check my car. No work had been done. I walk back in, give them my key and bill. They only finished the job at 7h. They didn't apologized or offered anything. Basically just laughed saying that this time it really was done. Waste of time and more expensive than other places.

Amazing service at the CT garage! I dropped by 15 mins ago with a problem. One of my lock nut had broken and I was stuck not able to remove my winter tires to install my summer tires. I had stopped at my dealership Subaru Outaouais and service was swamped and could not squeeze me to fix this urgently before 14 days!!!! But the manager at CT Richard Trepanier managed to fix this in a few minutes despite a crazy day. I just want to say a big thank you and we criticize from time to time when the service is not good but today I have to say that I was truly impressed!

I went there with my puppy on leash many times. It's one of the only stores where dogs are welcome. However today I got told that I had to carry him in my arms or place him in a basket and that they were not held liable if something were to happen. Now this was incredibly irritating to me as I had done my due diligence by checking the internet, calling their offices and checking the sign on their door. All of which confirmed that dogs were welcome as long as they were kept on a leash. I ended up putting back what I meant to purchase, cutting my trip short and leaving the store. I followed their rules and still got reprimanded. If you are not liable then it is in fact only my problem if something were to happen. No wonder so many dogs are not well socialized. So few places welcome dogs as it is.

Horrible customer services. I was looking for a gift receipt for my purchase as I wanted to get a gift for my friend . The cashier first of all didn’t knew what a gift receipt is and then later asked a person to help with gift receipt . The person tried for the gift receipt and later when he couldn’t help , he went and asked the lady manager at duty for assistance. To which the manager responded by saying that Canadian tire doesn’t give gift receipts anymore . It was only during Christmas time that they used to give gift receipt for the purchase . I enquired other Gatineau Canadian tire locations and Ottawa locations , everyone can provide gift receipts . Horrible customer service . Please stay away from this location . Racist management.
