Terrible. Take a look at the photos & video. They used silicone to install the battery monitor into the dash, but you can see it's not level. The video shows loose battery connections on my new battery and it rocks! Jeff talks about using black and white only for AC wire on a boat, but they used black and red for the hot connections on the AC electrical panel and didn't bother to heat shrink the heat shrink terminals. They cut an undersized hole in my battery box for the cable to exit and didn't bother to remove the burr. I refused to pay for months, I phoned and emailed. Jeff never offered to correct the problems, he only offered a $1000 discount. Pathetic. He puts on a good show with his articles and Youtube videos, but their actual workmanship is poor. Am ashamed to say I ended up paying over $3000 (was over $4000 before the discount) for a new battery, monitor, and a couple little wiring modifications.

Installation of solar panel - I used PYS to install a 100W solar panel on a sailboat. From start to finish the experience was excellent from product advice to the installation. The work was scheduled promptly. The technician arrived ahead of the agreed appointment. He performed the work in a efficient and professional manner. The installation turned out better than I expected. Great job. Based on my experience, I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to others. Thank you to Jeff, Chris and Romeo.

I purchased 4 gioco 115 mono crystalline solar panels zipped into a bimini. Within 3 plus years I see little to no current produced, and all panels showed signs of delaminating. Followed Jeff's advice on design and product, and paid a premium amount ( $8k plus) for the product and service, Now sitting looking at useless panels with buyers remorse and a company that doesn't stand behind a product they promote and poor customer service.

We recently used Pacific Yacht Systems to design a complete1000 watt solar system for our Selene 53. We also purchased all of the components from PYSMy wife and I installed the system ourselves and this would not have been possible without the advice along the way that Jeff and Lyle provided.We are very happy with how the installation turned out and how it is performing. We have a large house bank and this system has drastically cut back our generator use.We highly recommend yacht systems!

Purchased 4 sol-go 115watt solar panelS and had lafabrica sew zippers on them to attach to bimini. upon connecting, one panel is faulty, zero output. After several attempts to contact Jake at PYS, i receive an email informing me to contact SOL-GO. Terrible customer support and service. Please read my review of my previous experience purchasing giocco panels from PYS. Finally, They offered to sell me 4 panels to replace giocco, at a reduced cost. i went for it and this is the result.

Great service with battery replacement, xantrex inverter, and Victron monitor. Amazing to be able to see battery consumption anywhere. Even better to be more than two days at anchor and only down to 60% despite freezer, fridge, and all the tablets. Nice to have equipment and service that does exactly what it says on the box for once. Thanks Jeff and team.

We came up from the States to have PYS remove our old lead-acid batteries and install Lithium batteries as the house bank for our 48' liveaboard trawler yacht. The work included the removal of the eight 125lb lead-acid batteries, removal of the wasted battery box, installation of the new batteries, and connection to all charging sources including our solar panels and generator. The crew showed up early and worked all day and part of the next day to complete the project. Throughout they were courteous and answered all of my questions to help me better understand the electrical system. Additionally, they recommended some upgrades to help meet current ABYC standards. Throughout the process of designing the system, choosing the right batteries, and the installation, PYS was responsive to my questions and tight timeline. Definitely worth the trip.

I have been using the excellent services of PYS for almost ten years on a myriad of electronic and electric work on two Catalina sailboats that I have owned over the years. The work included the installation of solar panels, chart plotter, radar, alternator, batteries, a battery monitor, and the revamping of the electrical system on both boats. If you're looking for a cheap fix, don't contact Jeff or any other of the professionals at PYS. What I have received each and every time from PYS is great advice, timely work (very important in our short boating season), professional installation, and great after sales service. You may be able to save money with some of the other service providers out there, but that won't help you when you are out of power in the middle of the Straight or when you are moving closer to the rocks and your chart plotter goes dark. What you get with PYS is great value for your money! I highly recommend them.

If you are a serious boater who look for AAA electrical related services, PYS is the vendor to go for. I recently bought a 2006 Cruisers Yachts and PYS has helped me to upgrade the navigation and other electrical and entertainment systems including a radar, chartplotter, transducer, battery monitor, VHF radio, Fusion sound system and the galvanic isolators. Their service has been immaculate vis-a-vis product recommendation, problem diagnosis, scheduling of jobs, work quality, and after installation follow-up. They might not be the cheapest vendor in town but it is definitely worth it. I also learnt so much watching Jeff's videos on You Tube about marine electrical systems.They know their stuff and are able to deliver. No wonder they are so busy!
