It's been five months since the last review. has been this long trying to resolve account problems. Have been trying to cancel the service all afternoon. Have called the call center 5 or 6 times today. Have been in the que or on hold for over a half hour each time, every time they do answer they are not able to help and when transferred to the cancellation department the first rep just answered and hung up the second rep at least said hello but then after being told the account was to be closed, muted then hung up. The worst customer service ever. Have yet again called back.....am still in the que.....

ADT is the worst home monitoring company out there. I signed up 2.5 years ago and they promised the equipment sent will be new - it was old fashion dial in model. Got a SIM issue and this system keeps ringing by error. Technicians never sorted the problem. Ended up trashing it and still stuck with the bill for the full 3 years contract. I HATE ADT. I finally cancelled after 2 years and 9 months, and they STILL sent me a $100+ invoice. Please read my other review - I rarely give 1 star.

This guy showed up to my house, knocked on the door. I did not answer, so he actually went around back, peeked in my window and knocked on that ! And to top it off, after all the talking that should have only took a couple “seconds” was like 10 mins. Told him twice I would think about the subscription and he kept trying to get it done and install it without my consent basically tried to talk his way through the consent form.. when he finally realized (after 3 times) I was saying NO, he was like “do you even want it because you’re wasting my time. “ boy is lucky I didn’t punch his face!! Next time one of your workers is in my backyard peeking in my windows I’ll be calling the police!

Had a fairly bad experience getting hooked up with Telus security system first.ytheteck could not speak English well so we had problems there. The camera mounted on house needed more tan power sours e he wanted a plug outlet, who has an plug on the roof of house. Door lock not working because some wood has to be removed by the bolt, he was not capable to do. I have no idea how the system works and online instruction are poor.do not recommend Telus security

ADT was great...until they were bought out. Ever since they were bought out by Telus, I have experienced the worse customer service of my life. I can never get into my online account, even when they say they've fixed the issues. I get bills sporadically (not even every month), and you can never get anyone on the phone through their customer service. Stay far away from ADT, there are much better options out there.

Works fine, but sometimes it doesnt connect to doors properly and thinks that locked doors are actually unlocked. Scared me when the adt lock alarm went off in the middle of the night, thought someone broke in.

If I could give a negative rating I would. All ADT Telus are interested in doing is selling new systems. Customer service is none existent. trying to have a system hooked back up to monitoring that is 19 months old and they are only interested in selling me a new $2000 dollar system. Two hours on the phone 10 different customer service representatives and two phone hang ups on there end. makes for and extremely dissatisfied customer.If you are looking for a security system do yourself a favour and look somewhere else. The new install they did have done at my new place was done great until I quite watching and they drilled a hole through the middle of a wall. Never had these issues with adt until they joined Telus.
