Ken is the epitome of professional and dedicated. He takes his time to ensure the job is done to HIS, very high, standards - he takes such pride in his work! We were astounded at how effortlessly he was able to camouflage large patch areas on our brick home, matching grout colours and making entire widows literally disappear. He comes ready to work, is friendly and very dedicated. Blazing summer heat doesn't stop him. He is prepared with his tools and supplies, and leaves the job site cleaner than it started. We could not have asked for a better masonry experience.

We recently used Ken and Co. for a much-needed chimney repair. Ken was incredibly easy to deal with, up front about costs and what would be involved in the repair, and arranged a quick timeframe to deal with our issues. We also thought to have some bricks in the outside walls repaired at the same time. The crew was great (despite the strong winds) and efficient and cleaned up after themselves better than I would have done! Would recommend them whole heartedly.

Really happy with the work from Slagter Masonry. From the start, Ken was prompt and professional when providing a quote for brick repair and tuckpointing. The team that completed the work (Scott and Joshua) were excellent, friendly and relaiable. The work itself was perfect and the original quote was acurate. Would use them again and will reccomend to anyone.

Slagter Masonry is a family owned, local business. I observed a pride of ownership which was evident in every aspect of the service that Ken and his son provided. Courteous, timely, expert craftsmanship, neat. When they were done it was like they were never here! I cannot say enough about the quality of work provided. The workmanship is exceptional and we appreciated the attention to detail and pride in their work. We have asked them back for a second job as we are extremely satisfied. We hired Ken to remove all of the brick on our home and replace with a stone knee-wall and new chimney. Ken and Kendra worked tirelessly for weeks, in all types of weather, to complete the project and we couldn't be happier with the results. Their speed, cleanliness and attention to detail was absolutely amazing. It was a a pleasure to have such friendly and caring contractors around the house. We would strongly recommend them for any of your masonry needs.
