The wings were good but the nachos was that good it lacked salt on it. Overall the atmosphere was nice, there was live music playing.

This place was ok! Best part was the atmosphere and the kind servers. The food was mid — not bad but not great either. We had fish and chips (the best of our meals), chicken parm and the salmon. It took a while to get our food but it came out hot and fresh.

Staff was awesome and very helpful.Beer selection was ok, would have liked to have seen more Ontario selections (lots of big brew stuff).Had Calamari for an app, came out super fast but it was a little bit undercooked. You can see in the pic very little color on it.I had wings for a main and they were really good. Not the most amazing wings but cooked well, batter wasn't super thick.Girlfriend had the goat cheese tortellini and I think fell in love with it. She really enjoyed it.Prices are awesome. Nothing on the menu was over $20 and the portion and quality was good in comparison to the price.I think we'd be back and I'm excited for them to be able to open up a bit more.

We got the burgers and a pepperoni pizza. Clearly, the ownership here feels that all the food served should be of the highest quality. I had no idea that French fries could be so good! May very well be the best burger in town. Toppings and cheese were generous on the pizza. Service was impeccable.

It was a fantastic experience. We didn't initially plan to go here, but when we passed by the restaurant, the place's charm caught our eye, and we ended up going in and staying there. The bartender/waitress was amiable and even fulfilled my extra request. The food was delicious. I can only recommend it to everyone, if you are going to visit here for a tour.

What a great little spot! One of the best looking menus I’ve seen in ages, loved the influence of jerk flavoured items such as a jerk chicken burger, jerk wings and even a jerk quesadilla. Service was good, the location was nice with a good view from their patio and the mixed drinks where great! One negative about my visit was that two of us in our party ordered the rib-eye which they didn’t have then my second option was the slow braised rib which they didn’t have either but I will give this place the benefit of the doubt and would love to go back! Try it out everyone!!

The second time I have been to this restaurant and have had poor experiences both times with the food and drinks. Was giving the restaurant a second chance as the first time was right after Covid restrictions had been lifted for dining but on this occasion is was more of the same. The beer was flat after receiving it 20 minutes after ordering, the pizzas were not cooked and raw in the middle after waiting an hour and a half for them to arrive to the table. While waiting for two pizzas we had seem multiple tables that had arrived 30 minutes after us receive their pizza well before ours with the waitress having to see why the order was taking so long to come. The waitress was apologetic for the inconvenience and offered a discount on the bill which we were grateful for but, the food was terrible. Took the pizza home to properly cook myself.

The Portside is an excellent restaurant offering a great menu of steak, chicken, Italian and tacos. Great bar and spirits selection as well as a good assortment of deserts. The atmosphere is very trendy and warming at the same time offering a casual dining experience of small or large groups. Included is a great outdoor patio with fantastic view of the harbour. The wait time is almost nil. Public parking close by and wheel chair access is available. Highly recommend

Will start by saying my drink & the atmosphere were definitely good! Food very average and bland. Service even worse, drinks took literally 20 minutes. Food took quite some time as well, empty glasses sitting, 2 small containers of water for a table of 10, no check in about the food, asked to put the birthday girls bill on mine before others arrived and it ended up being split with others without even asking me so I ended up buying the birthday girl an $8 drink only. Others at the table had issues as well, I won’t include them in my personal review but all in all very poor experience. The worst part was the auto-gratuity. As a server of 7 years I would 1. NEVER not tell my table about an autograt and 2. Think 20% is an acceptable autograt when the service was so poor. Unfortunately some didn’t notice this on the bill & tipped 30-40% for the poorest restaurant experience I’ve had in a very long time. Will not return.

I took my parents here the Saturday evening before Mother's Day and we had a great dinner. We had a reservation and were seated immediately (we were early for our reservation). Service was great. Our drinks, apps and entrees were quick to arrive but not so that we felt like we were being rushed out. The most important part, the food, was fantastic! We started with the peach and jalapeno baked brie-great combination, and had the crispy chicken sandwich, tortellini and jambalaya for our mains. The jambalaya was enough for 2 meals (and was delicious both times) and the sandwich and tortellini were very much enjoyed.
